Recommended by sis to give this new restaurant a try. We ordered all 3 kinds of flavours (tom yum, light soya and assam) plus 2 sides which was otak and sesame chicken. It is indeed a very interesting concept to use tom yum broth with porridge and outcome was a delightful tangy/spicy seafood experience. However, the Thai river prawn was a little disappointing as there was only one piece but yet, the meat was not firm and fell apart easily when I was deshelving it. Fish meat slices on the other hand was fresh and did not have a fishy smell. The light soya version was flavourful but nothing really fanciful since it is somewhat similar to some chinese pork porridge I have tried before. We ordered the assam base (veg option) with instant noodles and it was no doubt a good combo but mainly for those who like strong flavours. Only feedback was that the saltiness superseded the sourness and broth was a tad bit too thick (viscous) to drink as a soup. I felt that it did not quite fit the "zingy and refreshing" description as I was expecting a lighter soup base. All dishes were topped with very generous portions of the crispy pork lard which I personally felt it was a little too much. While it complemented the light soya base porridge, it did kind of overpowered the tom yum and assam IMO. Most noteworthy was the otak which I think it was handmade freshly with thick chunks of mackerel fish meat - distinctive lemongrass taste but yet with very comfortable level of spiciness. Drinks (Thai milk, thai green tea and lemongrass pandan) we ordered were kind of so-so to be honest. Ice to drink ratio made it rather dilute. Overall still a good experience. Location is not the most accessible but will visit again in future if there is a chance.

As a Thai person living in Singapore, I would say this is a nice place. You should take Tom yum one as the normal light soy sauce could be a bit blend. However , I kinda like it. The decor is nice and interesting. Fish cake and chicken are a must. Worth coming as comfort food

Got to know of this place from a friend, I was immediately transported to Bangkok the moment I stepped in, love the ambiance. Food was fantastic! Ordered tomyum porridge with pork set as well as a seafood one, a crispy chicken with basil and a veg dish. Super recommend the porridge, the tomyum flavour has steeped in very nicely. Lemongrass drink is recommended as well as the rice wine with yakult.

Third time here and will definitely be back for more! The portions and pricing are really reasonable and great! Food tastes really nice and is a great option for those looking for brunch/midnight comfort food. Tried the latest crab meat omelette too and it was really tasty! Chunks of crab meat enhanced the flavor of the omelette!

Huge portion, interesting flavour! Authentic Taste for food and drinks! We had tamarind kwaychap and tomyum porridge and both were good. The tamarind (ma-kam) was tangy while Tom yum was sweet, sour, and spicy. The topping was delicious, we enjoyed the tumeric fried chicken was crispy yet juicy. Staffs were friendly, the only minus was the washroom which was not very clean. No napkins offers so bring your own.

First you choose a soup base : tom yum/ light soy sauce/ Assam. Then you choose your carbs, porridge/ instant noodles/ kway chap (thick flat rice noodles). Followed by your toppings : seafood/ chicken/ pork/ veggie
Highly recommend getting the instant noodles. The noodles are infused with the delicious Tom yum broth. The prawns from the seafood selection are really fresh as well. Service was great, friendly & patient in explaining the menu and how to order!
Definitely revisiting and bringing all my friends!

Very good comfort food in a casual setting. But definitely need to fix the AC upstairs as it’s really poor and very necessary to enjoy such claypot dishes... so I hope the owner will address this for improvements.
Jok Jok keeps the menu simple and doing a few dishes really well - claypot porridge, claypot noodles (ramen style) and a few really good snacks.
Here’s what we had:
1. Claypot noodles - tomyum pork. Not typically the big spicy sour flavors of tomyum soup but very mild and pleasant. Something different and very yummy with good ratio of ingredients. A bit more veggies would be perfect. Still very very good!
2. Claypot porridge - tomyum chicken. Very subtle sourness and flavorful porridge base. Bits of corn gives good texture but perhaps a bit of crunch or crispy condiments would elevate the dish. Still very good!
3. Thai turmeric midjoint wings. Nice and crispy outside with good flavor and juicy! Yums!
4. Tod man plaa fish cakes. Very very good and complimented well with the sweet sour chili sauce. Just a tad oily. Could’ve pat off the oil.
All in all, a bit of improvements to elevate the dishes and dining experience but it’s just me being picky wanted perfection to this very good place! Highly recommended and I’ll be back to try other stuff too.
Also charming utensils and glasses to give that Thai touch!

Overpriced porridge laced with excessive MSG. Not worth it.
$2.80 for a small cup of 3in1 Thai milk tea.
Off the shelf Tom Yum soup paste poured over porridge served in a claypot, that cost you $15+/- depending on what ingredients you ordered with . And Thai mami noodles using the soup pack that comes with it that will cost you $15+/- as well. You can get better quality food elsewhere. But if you are talking about environment, yes it's nicely renovated and air-conditioned, the food is served in a nice pot so it's more like a Instagram worthy place than food worthy place.
I spent a total of $50 on instant noodles and off the rack soup base porridge for 3 pax.
