Review Hrvst Restaurant & Bar - Singapore

We had a few hour layover so we decided to try HRVST today for a quick lunch stop between flights. Our first dish was the pumpkin fettucine with tomyum broth, shimeji, baby corn, coriander oil, jap cucumber ribbons. As the other dishes, this dish was both prepared and presented perfectly (obviously by a trained chef.) A preview review disliked this particular dish because they felt the pasta was overdone. My entree was done perfectly with the right mixture of spices. Our next dish was the King Oyster "Scallops" appetizer with spinach & spirulina puree, garlic snow, baby carrot, baby corn, toasted hazelnuts, lemon zest. This was very tasty with s nice combination of flavor. We also had s very nice juice and the Barley Risotto dish. The BKT (bak kut teh) barley risotto had diced fresh daikon, garlic chips, garlic oil, pink radish, dough crisps and braised nuts. It was also very good and done correctly. Our chef brought both mains out to us with a smile. We finished up our quick but satisfying meal with the matcha Ice cream with blood orange puree, poached plums, pistachio sprinkled on the sides. The price for the two set lunch menus was 46 SGD, a price well within our expectation for the high quality and decent amount of food served. We plan to try some other dishes at HRVST on our next layover in Singapore.

Great vegan place with good cocktails. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Food is good but not that filling. Relaxed atmosphere. The quality of the food is good and anybody can go there to eat.

Because of all the good reviews and five-star ratings, I expected a lot of HRVST. The food is wholesome and healthy. The menu choices can fit into one page; which is good, enough choices. I had the BKT barley risotto. After eating, I feel good and healthy. However, I think it’s expensive. I think one can get better vegetarian food at Fortune Centre.

A little secluded on the balcony with gym next to it. The food itself is innovatively crafted and good for people who wants to try new things. On the pricey side which can run up to 30-40SGD per head. So i recommend only on the special occasions.

I am still dreaming of the nut butter toast! Fantastic vegan place, dishes are really tasty and staff are friendly. The pumpkin fettucine is light and the pumpkin was cooked to perfection. The fettucine though was a little mushy. The pineapple dessert was really tasty, the coconut sorbet was full of flavor! Would definitely be back again!

Sought HRVST out on a trip to Singapore. The menu intrigued me and I wasn’t disappointed. The restaurant has as backdrop their gym and their vegetable roof garden. The food we went for was the taco shells and oyster ‘scallops’ as starters and barley risotto and sourdough for mains. Amazing flavours. Will definitely be back.

My friend and I were appalled at the cook's (who does not deserve to be called a chef) response towards our feedback on the food. The pasta was overcooked and became lumpy, the cook said that was intentional to suit the taste of the crowd, added that it is our problem for not liking it and insisted we should make a special request for the pasta to be cooked al dente. I do not know of any decent chef who thinks pasta is not to be cooked al dente by default. We were curious if the braised peanuts are canned food. The same cook repeatedly refuse to answer the straightforward yes/no Q and went "you don't have to know." and "so what if it is canned peanuts?" He does not understand that as customer, we have the rights to know what we are consuming. I am surprised that a place which advocates healthy moving and clean eating (base on their PR release in several websites) uses processed ingredients. This pretentious vegan cafe left a bad taste in our mouths.

Served tasty Gin & Tonics WITHOUT straws by default. To say I was shocked is an understatement. First time I’ve desperately asked for ‘no straws please’ only to find the request was unwarranted. Also had a chance to try some morsels of food served as sharing plates at a private function. Will definitely like to go back and try more another time.

Pleasantly surprised by the vegan food at HRVST. Finally, a place that manages to be meat-free and serves food that tastes amazingly good. The refreshing cocktails are a great pick-me-up after a long day of work and to ease the way to the weekends. Not only do they taste good (highly addictive), they look incredible for the insta feed.

Awesome vegan food that doesn’t remind you that it’s vegan, great service and awesome environment, the prices are also reasonable too. Definitely planning for my next visit there!

We have a fund raising dinner event in April at HRVST.. more than 50 diners love the food n most of us are not vegan. We love the ambience of the restuarant n only a few of them are not used to eat western food.. we thank you the chefs n staff for putting this event successful.

Fantastic dinner tonight, especially loved the special of chargrilled cauliflower with sate sauce, achar, and fried vermicelli... the “scallops” are also great! Actually I loved it all and we’ll definitely come back!!!

I don’t like vegetables and try to avoid them as much as possible. This really changed my mind!! Food is so flavourful and yummy

Vegan never tasted so good! We got that amazing salad, the pumpkin thing and that tofu on “peanut butter” spread that had no peanuts but was hand made mix of almonds and other nuts!

I’m not a vegan, need my fill or meat. And yes, i always thought vegetarian food meant tofu, tofu and more tofu... however, HVRST’s menu took me by surprise with its amazing offering. Every mouthful was delightful. I’m definitely going back for more! P.S. I love your garden!!!!
