Had an exceptional lunch today at Gourmet Plus.
The Truffle Infused Cream of Mushroom was very smooth to the palate. The amount of white truffle oil was just enough to enhance the taste without overpowering the flavour of the mushrooms, which were fresh and didn't have the strong "woody" scent.
The Pan-fried Foie Gras had a wonderfully well seasoned, caramelised crust with a juicy, smooth and velvety interior. It was impressive as I later found out that the chef didn't use the sous-vide method and achieved perfection purely based on his culinary skills.
Gourmet Plus seemed to have mastered their use of truffles. In another dish, Ravioli with Truffle Mushroom Cream, they achieved a perfect balanced of flavour between the mushrooms, truffle, cheese and cream. The Ravioli was well cooked (al-Dente) and the overall texture wasn't too rich ("Jelak") to bore the taste buds.
Overall, it was worth every single calorie and I'm looking forward to dine again Gourmet Plus.

What a wonderful find in the neighborhood! Loved the toman fish with quinoa (cooked with ceylon spice chai tea!) - such a unique and tasty combination.
Will be back with the fried brie cheese and the Big Breakfast soon!

The mark of any good restaurant is how they do their chicken which is not easy from a culinary point of view. The chicken here is Awesone ! The pasta Alio Olio is awesome too ! Then I tried the garlic prawns , sticky date pudding , poached pear - you name it . So now I'm a regular there.

Enjoyed my dinner at Gourmet East today. We had a lovely spread of Seafood Paella, Seared Scallops Pasta, Crispy Beef Cheek, Ribeye and Seafood Stew. Every dish was wiped clean by us, food was absolutely fantastic at this cosy restaurant. Hostess and Chef were extremely hospitable. Will be back for more!

Worst fish and chips I've ever had. Low quality / squishy fish, overly salty batter and clearly un-fresh, frozen chips. I've had better fish and chips at a hawker centre for 7 dollars.
Nothing Gourmet or Gastropub about that meal. Never again.

Love the chocolate duo- chocolate lava cake with Nutella parfait. Ordered pan roasted foie gras, crispy wagyu beef cheek and lamb rack with Parmesan potato as well. Serving was big. Food was good. Cheerful staff. Great service. Second time visiting, will visit again soon.

Staff is friendly n explained to us when checking w us on how the food goes... service here r good n let us feel its worth visit. Environment is good n cozy, dining here was comfortable n relaxing.
But we find that the food quite salty for both buffalo's wing n the scallops pasta. If i happen to be there again, i will remind the salty level to be reduced. Dont think its a prob �

Food was awful quality and hardly warm.
Beef lasagne was clearly a reheated version and not heated through. Cold in the middle.
Terrible service.
Had an offer displayed that was not on offer which is what we went in for.
No wonder it was empty the whole time we were there and pretty normal for it to be empty.
