One of the rare few Foochow restaurant in Singapore. It wasn't really crowded of a Saturday, nevertheless there a few tables of diners including ours. The lady boss who took our order was very attentive and made some recommendations to us. Food were well presented and tasted good, except for the Claypot Fishhead which tasted ordinary. Nevertheless, it's still sad to learnt that the owners have decided to call it a day.

*UPDATE* The place has been closed 😠end of an era... will miss this place!
I am personally quite shocked at the horrid reviews of this place, the Singapura Restaurant is really quite reasonably priced for a Chinese restaurant; sure this is expensive if you compare it to the local coffee shops.
The place is something right out of the 70s, if you want a complete throwback experience, ask them to put on the Theresa Teng.
The cold crab is great, tons of milt and roe and the hokkien mee is a must-order, really hits the spot if it's a cold rainy day outside.

Quality of food has dropped a little. Service is still on par. Came here for the cold crabs and duck. Not too noisy and easy to talk around the table. Good for family gatherings.

Quaint little restaurant with authentic foochow dishes. Must try the Red Wine Chicken Soup, the FooChow fried liver, and the red bean fried pancakes. They are YUMS!! Oh and the Prawn Rolls too. A tad expensive but not exorbitantly so for people who eats at hawker centers and coffee shops.

Place was ABSOLUTELY empty. EVEN on a SATURDAY night at 8pm. Only bought 3 dishes, 4 bowls of rice and plain water cost me $154!!! OUTRAGEOUS
Dont go, do yourself a favour
Only plus point were the cute cats outside the "restaurant"
Ps. Place looked haunted and so did the toilet

Dun waste your money pricey cheapo restaurants. Wet towels cannot give back cos they say no service charge so must sell to customers. Plain water $1.
$20 ginger frog comes with only 2 frog legs. Peanuts a few bucks. Rip off

Price of the food is extravagantly high compared to the quality. On average most dishes were too dry or even slightly overcooked. Presentation of the dishes were "splat.. here you go".. oh and did I say about their service? Ermmm. Nvm I mentioned there's service..

Unlike any Sarawak Sibu's Foochow dishes I have tasted; this is more refined. Even the simple Foochow noodle has crispy crackle lard and Lala clams, apart from the usual ingredients - Sweet! Yam Orh Nee is a gooey paste unlike the Teochew's. Although the fragrant duck is a bit dry, but crunchy good to last bite. So is its Fried Prawn Roll - QQ too!
