Review Imperial Restaurant - Singapore

Superb Chinese cuisine albeit a little salty. I enjoyed the food especially the shark fins soup which I have not eaten for years. Restaurant supervisor is very attentive and caring.

Family lunch on a Saturday and the restaurant was not full. The service staff assigned to our table was superb. She was attentive, courteous and served every dish that came to our table. Very friendly. We ordered 2 set meals (1 set meant for 5pax) for our table of 11 adults plus a xiao lung bao. The food was well prepared, not salty (our preferred taste), and the fluffy egg white was our favourite. Herbal soup was also very good. Truly value for money as the set meals were nett price and tea was charged by the pot & not individual pax. The only item not very nice was the XLB which I found the skin thick and has no soup in the dumpling. Will recommend.

Enjoyed great food at this restaurant. The dishes were well prepared, presentation was good and their service was top notch. Best of all, their pricing was very reasonable too. Will definitely be back for the good food.

Purchased the voucher from Fave app & had Set B. Voucher excludes the side dishes and Chinese tea. Strangely the voucher was reflected as redeemed in the app prior our visit. Special mention to the restaurant staff, Vicky/Vicki who assisted us & allowed us to proceed with our meal using the Fave voucher. Every single dish is so on point & well balanced with herbs, there’s nothing to fuss about. Didn’t expect walnuts would go so well with soups & savoury dishes. Personal favourites: the fluffy egg white, braised chicken and braised bee hoon. Set B is good for 5 adults. Thank you for the excellent dining experience!

Was recommended this place by my daughter after having a company lunch there. Well it’s a very typical Chinese restaurant with friendly service although it was a little slow. The dishes came one at a time but I wished they were served quicker. Ambience wise, I felt I was transported back to the 70s or 80s - LOL. Food wise, I did not find what we tried outstanding. The Fluffy Egg white was not really special. Needed more taste. The soups were good though. We enjoyed them. The claypot tou fu with seafood was nicely done. We enjoyed that as well especially when it was still warm from the claypot. But then I have to mention that similar dishes could be made at tze-char stores. The braised Ee-fu noodles was a little under seasoned. Perhaps we should have ordered the fried version what was the other Ee-fu noodles on the menu. Overall, I was expecting more.

Staff were mostly friendly and the food tasted really good. Don't expect HDL level of services. Prices are fair and relatively cheaper as it's located in a really old hotel. 1 point to note is that this place is quite inaccessible from the carpark for people on wheelchair or with weak legs as the only way to the restaurant from the carpark is by climbing a flight of stairs. You have to drop them off at the hotel lobby first. Also, carpark coupons are not given and parking is quite expensive. You'll have to go down to the carpark, get a receipt for the parking, and go back up to the restaurant to get a reimbursement if you want.

Having dinner here and the food was nice. Like the concept of using Chinese herbs to make their food. The spare ribs is nice and desert is special

We recently held our wedding solemnisation and lunch buffet at Four Points and have to say we were really pleased and glad we chose Four Points as our wedding venue! Eileen, who liaised with us from start till end, was all smiles always and responses via emails were reasonably fast. Though there are little errors in details here and there, we felt that it was totally understandable given the number of couples she probably has to deal with on a daily basis. Felt the need to mention this as it would also be the couples’ responsibility to be checking through details to make sure they are what we are expecting for the actual day. The vendor for the wedding favours and cards was great and we really loved the coasters prepared, just a pity we forgot to keep those for ourselves! :( Basically everything on our actual day was really awesome, from the deco, to the coordination, to the various venues used for our solemnisation, buffet and tea ceremony, the staff, the food, the wedding cake. Only a minor feedback from our guests that the desserts were a tad too sweet. Special thanks also to the banquet manager (hope we got his name right - think it was Gana), a particular waitress whom I had a deep impression of (Joanne) and the really professional and experienced AV in-charge (Francis). What an awesome team Four Points has!

I'm no seasoned international traveller but I have stayed in plenty of good Australian hotels and this matches lots of them. Nice room , good facilities, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. It's in a great part of the city , nice views from my room. The food was great in the buffet restaurant and the bar in the lobby was good with nice food also. I liked it and would stay there again.

Business trip stay for a few days with my colleague during March 2018. Our experience was great. Staff was attentive, helpful and pleasant to deal with. The room was more than okay for our stay. Great central location of the hotel, right next to the river (ask for a riverview room) with great variety of restaurants nearby. Excellent for dinner. Great breakfast buffet.

Had buffet dinner quite number of times and the food is as good as always. Absolutely recommended to friends and family. The only concern is there is no nursing room for me to nurse my baby. I hope that Four Points can look into it and able to provide nursing moms a room to nurse their baby! Instead of getting us to nurse in the handicap toilet! 😕😱

You need to improve your breakfast buffet, not very 5star. Your lunch and dinner is superb. Appearance of the staff at front desk, not very 5stR.

Went for the Sun brunch with my family. Food wise is ok but choices could have been wider. Ambience and service is good. Clearing of plates is fast and the staffs always ask if we want to top up the sparkling wine.

The food so so only. Boston lobster was like rubber band, can hardly chew it. Can hardly taste the curry fm Curry crayfish & wasn’t warm. Prawn& Mussels acceptable as it is fresh. Lala was small & tasteless. Snow crab leg so far ok. Fried/cooked stuffs like fried rice, spaghetti, fish was really tasteless “disappointed”. There’s only plain water, coffee or tea, lychee almond was tasteless/not sweet at all. Chocolate cake & Durian paste is nice. The hotel provides complimentary for parking “after 6pm onwards”, but I arrived 2mins before 6pm & was charged $4 even though I have the complimentary ticket, which is so ridiculous & pissed off.

The buffet spread variety was ok, food was great, service was ok and it is value for money. However the sashimi was disappointing, when I was at the station waiting for the chef, a female waitress shouted across the station to alerted an elderly chef (nametag: Alan) who was washing his knife "hey chef you got a customer" I was shocked when he replied "want to eat cannot wait ah!" I pretended not to hear it and continue to wait till he comes back to the station and when I ordered my tuna and salmon sashimi I was very disappointed. The sashimi was not evenly sliced and it was sliced like as though it was meant for frying or for soup. I would not say that it cannot be eaten it was just so different in texture and feel in the mouth.

The hotel is far from the MRT which is quite disappointing. Room is quite spacious and has a nice view of the river. Food is good as well and the staffs are friendly and approachable. Overall it was a good place to stay in.

We requested early check in but after 3 hours our room still isn't ready. They keep telling us to come back in 1 hour. We have 3 little kids who are very tired after travelling ALL night. The staff at the front desk seems very unresponsive about our situation As platinum members we are very dissatisfied with this experience.

The seafood buffet at Four Points Eatery is value for money. The spread includes lobster, crab, prawn, cray fish, sea cucumber, salmon, sashimi, fresh oyster (open on the spot), delectable range of cooked food, yummy desserts such as durian pengat, chendol.
