Review Buona Terra - Singapore

Had a lovely 4 course lunch on New Year’s eve! Service was impeccable and didn’t disappoint! I couldn’t decide which was my favourite course as each of them was superb and put together perfectly. Thank you for the great experience! Would love to return soon :)

Would recommend to everyone. The interior is cosy and posh. I was ushered in to my table and the very kind lady waiting staff had made sure there was space for my bag. The exterior has parking and could be tricky if it’s raining. The food was great. Lunch menu could change but they will ask you beforehand if you have dietary restrictions. Overall service was very good due to the lady staff, but the snobbish older male staff was not respectful and has the typical gender bias when I was speaking he just ignored me and directed his attention to my partner instead. In the end, the wine the male staff recommended was not enjoyed by either of us at all. Other than that, everything was great. I’d bring my friends back for sure.

Sorry, we went there for a birthday and wanted to have a good time with fine Italian dinner. It's suppose to have a Michelin star, but we honestly think they don't deserve it. It was good but not great. Looks like fine dining but quality & taste of dishes are not that star level for sure, and way too expensive for what you get. Hope they will improve.

Delighted & enjoyable fine dining experience. Roger is very nice & friendly in helping us to select the wine. His recommendation is awesome. We enjoyed Heletto very much. The food is decadent.Especially the yellowtail carpaccio, Mozambique Scampi. Thank you for the birthday special dessert. My only comment is to slow down the serving pace. Feels a bit rush..

Extremely tardy service and so so food. Definitely not worth the wait nor the price paid for it. Don't come unless you've three hours to burn and no appetite to kill. The mains came only two hours after the start of the meal, and by that time any goodness the meal had was matched with an extremely bad aftertaste. Forgettable Starters, can't make it carparccio, just trying too hard tomato. Spaghetti - no amount of expensive truffle can mask the proletariat waft of Kraft cheese smell. Should have just had my TV mac and cheese. Desserts were deplorable. Rather depressing to end a meal that way, and honestly a mere hindrance to getting home. Truly a one star restaurant, just not one star Michelin.

Delightful 9 course dinner that left our pallets satisfied and bellies very bloated. Although I really liked the spaghetti and risotto.. both dishes were very rich and rather heavy, which left me little room before the Wagyu was served. In retrospect think I would have gone for the duck as although the A5 wagyu was a beautiful medium rare, the marbling was so thick that it was a little too oily for me, I felt especially even so after the two creamy dishes. Really liked the “Torta di Mele” but didn’t have space left for the other desserts and had to have them packed. Still nice ambience and impeccable service. Would recommend the place if you want to indulge a little for a special occasion.

I had dinner at this restaurant with friends for the first time. We really liked the ambience and the tasteful interior decoration, as well as relatively distanced tables that provided some privacy. The food was also delicious with a finely-crafted menu - particularly loved the kinmedai and pasta dish. The meal was marred by poor service — firstly, despite taking some effort to clarify our food restrictions, we were still served the dessert that contained the offending ingredient (despite being earlier promised that it would be switched out). When this was highlighted to the server, it was met with a response of frustration. It appeared to us that the front-of-house team was not communicating effectively with each other in making clear the diners’ requests. The level of service was quite disparate depending on the server, at some points it was warm and attentive, but at others it was curt and almost rude, which is frankly shocking for a fine dining restaurant. This was a huge blemish on our dining experience and I would not recommend this restaurant to my friends. Hope that the feedback will result in some improvement in their service standards.

Every single dish, from the starters to the mains to the desserts was spectacular in its flavour, presentation and the sheer magic worked on your taste buds. Truly a lovely place to celebrate a special occasion. The first of three days of birthday celebrations, I had the best time enjoying the tasting menu at Buona Terra last week! While the ambience is not the same without background music (it's a challenge with all restaurants in the current situation), the food more than makes up for it. The restaurant staff were also very friendly, warm and helpful, which definitely adds to the experience! A lovely touch was having a special birthday dessert added in as a surprise along with a cute rendition of "Happy Birthday!" It was unexpected and very much appreciated. :) Will definitely come back to celebrate more special occasions!

This place is a hidden gem on Scotts Road. Go here if you want to impress your co-workers, or a super romantic date. food is exquisite, and wine pairings are second to none. It's a quality place, so pricing also reflects that. Can't wait to go again!

I really enjoyed the excellent and genuine Italian cuisine with a touch of Asia.. always using the best ingredients. Special mention for the sommelier and wine director Gabriele who thanks to his expertise and intuition can always combine the right wine to the dishes and to guest personality. Great experience!

Delicious food - beautifully balanced flavours, lovely presentation. Wonderful hospitality and service from manager/Sommelier Gabriel. Go ahead and trust him. Just drink whatever he puts in front of you. Always a winner!

Having to host a group of Italian friends is easy but finding them authentic and reputable Italian cuisine is a challenge. One wonders why Italians or any other foreigners, would want to have a taste of their country's cuisine instead of our local delicacies while they are here. Well the reason given to me was that they missed home. They loved the sea bass with polenta, lamb loins and the wagyu beef carpaccio (isn't wagyu beef korean, but who cares. It's lovely) Personally I'm not much of a foodie but I have say my taste buds were positively tickled. I won't mind having an extra dose of molten chocolate. Weight loss program can start after that. Nice ambience checked. Warm service checked. What else can I say. I'm glad that I've chosen Buona Terra for these home-sick creatures. Keep up the great job :)
