This place is a hidden gem on Scotts Road. Go here if you want to impress your co-workers, or a super romantic date. food is exquisite, and wine pairings are second to none. It's a quality place, so pricing also reflects that. Can't wait to go again!
I really enjoyed the excellent and genuine Italian cuisine with a touch of Asia.. always using the best ingredients. Special mention for the sommelier and wine director Gabriele who thanks to his expertise and intuition can always combine the right wine to the dishes and to guest personality. Great experience!
Had a lovely 4 course lunch on New Year’s eve! Service was impeccable and didn’t disappoint! I
couldn’t decide which was my favourite course as each of them was superb and put together perfectly. Thank you for the great experience! Would love to return soon :)
Would recommend to everyone. The interior is cosy and posh. I was ushered in to my table and the very kind lady waiting staff had made sure there was space for my bag.
The exterior has parking and could be tricky if it’s raining.
The food was great. Lunch menu could change but they will ask you beforehand if you have dietary restrictions.
Overall service was very good due to the lady staff, but the snobbish older male staff was not respectful and has the typical gender bias when I was speaking he just ignored me and directed his attention to my partner instead. In the end, the wine the male staff recommended was not enjoyed by either of us at all.
Other than that, everything was great. I’d bring my friends back for sure.
Delighted & enjoyable fine dining experience. Roger is very nice & friendly in helping us to select the wine. His recommendation is awesome. We enjoyed Heletto very much. The food is decadent.Especially the yellowtail carpaccio, Mozambique Scampi. Thank you for the birthday special dessert. My only comment is to slow down the serving pace. Feels a bit rush..
Delightful 9 course dinner that left our pallets satisfied and bellies very bloated.
Although I really liked the spaghetti and risotto.. both dishes were very rich and rather heavy, which left me little room before the Wagyu was served. In retrospect think I would have gone for the duck as although the A5 wagyu was a beautiful medium rare, the marbling was so thick that it was a little too oily for me, I felt especially even so after the two creamy dishes.
Really liked the “Torta di Mele” but didn’t have space left for the other desserts and had to have them packed.
Still nice ambience and impeccable service. Would recommend the place if you want to indulge a little for a special occasion.
Every single dish, from the starters to the mains to the desserts was spectacular in its flavour, presentation and the sheer magic worked on your taste buds. Truly a lovely place to celebrate a special occasion.
The first of three days of birthday celebrations, I had the best time enjoying the tasting menu at Buona Terra last week! While the ambience is not the same without background music (it's a challenge with all restaurants in the current situation), the food more than makes up for it. The restaurant staff were also very friendly, warm and helpful, which definitely adds to the experience! A lovely touch was having a special birthday dessert added in as a surprise along with a cute rendition of "Happy Birthday!" It was unexpected and very much appreciated. :)
Will definitely come back to celebrate more special occasions!
