Chee Koon Lim
Dinner on Monday 7.45pm. Managed to get a table without prior booking.
Prawn paste chicken, hot plate tofu, salted egg sotong were excellent. Three egg spinach was well below average.
Comfortable dining in aircon restaurant. Dishes were served promptly, and staff were responsive.

Food here are Chinese tze-chay style and the variety is plentiful. Good food and clean restaurants are harder to come by, especially in local context. Chinese staff are very friendly and helpful, even give you a drink while you wait for your takeaways. Prices of food are reasonable by local standards. Sometimes is quite crowded during public holidays, so its advisable to book a table. Seattings for 4 (8 rectangular tables for 4 pax) and for 10 (4 round tables for 10 pax).Yummy foods are worth waiting for.:-)

The food is ok. Nothing out of the ordinary and nothing gone wrong either. We had the white bee hoon which had many ingredients (recommended). The fried toufu that was delicate and easy with the palate, beef slices (normal) and sand skin chicken (ok though the meat is just about on the verge of being dry). The price was ok for the quality of food. The joint doesn't merit a specific patronage especially if you are not in the area. And the porridge shop next door may be a more economical bet.
