Update: the rice and meat was dry and the shop assistants scooped out from a tray and put the plate into the microwave before serving. Despite being peppery, there was no flavour. Totally not worth the money. Will never go back again.
This is an outlet of the original stall at 50 Dunlop Street. Shopkeeper, mentioned this stall opened on 19 June 2017. The Mix of spices in the Biryani rice and flavour of the mutton was aromatic, added with the caramelised onion garnishing. However everything seemed too dry, like it was kept in a food warmer for too long. Also to note, they don't serve curry, but instead a white sauce that seems to be yoghurt. Overall the meal was satisfying but way over priced for a hawker stall. I thought even basic vegetable biryani at $8 is a bit too pricey as there are numerous $5-6 mutton biryanis around the vicinity. Mutton starts at $15 a plate.

I can accept if the briyani is normal. I can accept it is tasteless with tough meat. But what I cannot accept is a briyani meal filled with shrapnel of bones from the mutton. It’s just dangerous! Never again.

Came 4 weeks ago for a biryani which was ok. Service was awful. Vowed not to come back. Got in the rain today and decided to chance it again... ordered a chicken bhuna.... The same people serving asked eat in or take away
I said eat in. Hey said I could only take away! Why the choice? I proceeded to tell them there was no queue at lunch time and they should serve me especiallyvas it is in a hawker centre! They reluctantly microwaved up the same chicken they heated up for my biryani 4 weeks ago but when I asked for rice they added 3.50 dollars to the 6.50 asking price.. Had I ordered the chicken biryani... I would have had the rice and extras for less! Taken for a fool, I shan't return. Shame as the food is worth 3.5 out of 5....

Veggie biryani waaay too spicy: don't order
Chicken biryani: ok, too spicy for my taste
Lamb biryani: hubby says it's the most awesomest
Overall, they are served with yoghurt and no curry and no achar, so dry for my taste

Authentic Indian Dum Biryani that featured in the first edition of Singapore Michelin Guide. Flavourful yet not spicy. One of the best in Singapore.

The food is good, if a little spicy. The mutton is tender. The chicken is alright. However, the Indonesian lady manning the store gave me a strange experience. I wasn't sure if she didn't understand me or what. But I initially got the impression that they weren't selling or weren't open at all and that led to some arkward moments.

Vegetarian biryani was so spicy that even seasoned spice lovers like me couldn’t eat more than 3 spoonfuls.
Hope this is a one-off experience.

Very tender lamb biryani along with the best kulfa! Only issue is the main branch is like a restaurant and this one is like a hawker center stall.
