Used to love going to Koh Nangkam but my recent trip there wasn’t the most pleasurable.
We ordered seafood Tom Yum which was a little bit too salty for us. The beef in the fried rice was salty too.
Other than that, the omelette came last, when we’re halfway finishing our food. But, the omelette tasted good!
I felt embarrassed bringing my friend (who’s never been here) to celebrate her birthday as I’ve been raving about KNK for years whenever we talk about Thai food.
I guess KNK is not my favourite go-to Thai food place anymore. 😭
We also ordered the kangkong and Pandan chicken, those were nice.
Not only that, quite a lot of the items on the menu are not available (as seen in the photo).

Still the old nostalgic halal Thai restaurant which we frequently dine few years ago. Making a comeback again to this restaurant wasn't a disappointment. Still maintaining the quality and standard in their dishes and menus. The place now caters to a wider and spacious surrounding yet maintaining good distancing between patrons. A recommended Thai cuisine menu dishes to give an authentic experience to your palate. The crispy fried chicken and the variation choice of fish menus, favourite dish the Thai salad and Tom Yum soup.

The Ramadhan set menu was very tasty with the well balanced flavours and spices. However the food was prepared and served way in advanced and turned cold by Iftar time. It'd be better if the rice and the tom yum soup was served later, or kept warm for a while more.

Tom Yum soup here packs a punch! Quite a number of hits and misses. Squid fritters were more batter than squid, Phad SiYu (beef kway teow) was quite odd and their Phad Thai is well.. the most inauthentic Phad Thai ive ever had haha. Sea Bass was so fresh and meaty though and I love their green curry. Affordable too and didn’t know it was halal, adding this place to the list of places to dine with my malay friends next time!

Used to eat here often with colleagues before office shifted. Made a trip with friend just to eat. Standard has dropped significantly, and prices has increases. Got the Duo Buddy Meal (something like that) for $30. Cheap rice that smells, chicken nothing great and salty veg. At least prawns in soup were fresh. Didn't finish food and ended up at Macs soon after. Overall disappointing and won't be going back again. Service is really slow too.

The food taste, quality and portions have been consistently the same since I started dining at Koh Nangkam. Their service is relatively fast considering the food is cooked when ordered. I particularly like their signature fried rice with seafood, 3 flavoured fish fillets, tom yam soup, green curry chicken and grilled prawns.

Great food...clean ambience. Had their family set $28 / pax and find that it worth it. Food are fresh, good quantity and tasteful. Can be quite crowded so making reservations are highly recommended..

The signature beef stewed noodle is fragrant and delicious, with generous portions of tender, melt-in-your-mouth beef cuts.... which makes the raised price (we understand, post-Covid!) less hurtful 😅

Loved the kebab today and the portion was enough for more than one person.

Lamb is a bit smelly and not Asian taste.

Great kebab, cold beers and superb staff!

The lamb is freaking amazeballs. Lamb for the win.

Delicious kebabs and very great service. Make sure to try the tea's with cool brassy pot. The staff are amazing and it's a nice place to hang out near Arab street which is always buzzing with crowds and culturally fit within the area.
THANK YOU IKEBAB!
