Review Mac Doner Kebab And Grill - Singapore

Chili Pedi
Only tried their lamb moussaka and mango-strawberry mint blend drink. The moussaka portion was large and it was a pleasant surprise that it was served with briyani-looking basmati rice. There was not much flavour added to the moussaka. It tasted like how baked eggplant, potato, capsicum with mozzarella cheese melted on top would taste like. I had expected it to be slightly more spiced. The lamb was pretty well spiced and tasty though. I really enjoyed the drink; the mint gave it an extra refreshing kick. Service was a little rough around the edges, but fast and responsive. Thoroughly enjoyed the colourful, psychedelic decor and relaxed ambience.

One the worst exemplary of service and food. Meat is cold and reheated by microwave oven. A cup of black tea is almost $5 -$7 which is ridiculous Cutlery , spoon & fork is not throughly clean therefore it's a hygiene issue. Before and after serving of food, the staffs will gather and smoke together near the entrance of the entrance which causes every diners to have 2nd hand smoke. Service is ridiculously slow and we have to wait so Long for the food and bill even tho there were only 2 diners. The the food is overly priced, where I can superb service and quality for half the price in other restaurants. For such food we 2 of us had to pay $70 ++ It wasn't fulfilling at all Absolutely not recommendable you may choose a nearby Kopitiam.

Haven't gotten the bad experiences that the reviews before me had (Is it luck? Lack of discernment on my part? Who knows.) Staff were welcoming. Interesting decor and a lively ambience. Seating was outdoor by the road. Ordered the Lamb Kofte and a Mint Tea. Kofte was a touch dry. Serving was enough for one. Mint Tea was black tea with a few fresh mint leaves added, which is no crime, and was refreshing. Originally wanted the Lebanese Coffee; they didn't have the Lebanese Coffee. Price is what I'd expect from an Arab Street eatery (If there's a Middle Eastern place in the area where a proper sit-down meal with a drink doesn't cost $25-30++, I'd like to hear of it).

Trust the other low reviews. This place is marginal at best and with so many other choices in the neighborhood, give this one a pass. Most of what we ordered was mediocre, but one dish was inedible (the kibbeh). When I mentioned this to the server, he just made an odd face and walked away. From that point on no one else came to the table until we asked for bill. The other dishes include the mezza platter and the whole grilled chicken. Although edible, they were just within the margin. The last oddity is that they served Mexican tortillas for bread rather than pita or lavash, which pair much better with middle eastern/Turkish food.

Should have ran at the point we started getting hounded on the street, but then again they were no different to many of the other places around here. The lemon and mint drink, heavily watered down (@$7.50), was easily the least enjoyable one I have had. We had the baba ganoush, which I've had better for cheaper, and the mixed grill. The meat was tender, however it came out without the lamb chop, which when queried, were told was on its way. It came out a few minutes after the rest of the platter. We were overcharged an extra item (there were 2 other tables that had questioned their bill) and also charged $4 for the pita bread (more akin to roti than Lebanese bread). Not sure how you'd eat baba ganoush without bread. I wouldn't recommend this place - shame as the area it's in has so much potential.

all that we ordered brought cold or warmed.😬fork and spoon brought late. 😒 I left a good amount of money, but the food was terrible. 😡Chicken kebab was simply steamed. 😝😖wasted money. 😤I do not recommend to anyone.👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Terrible, dishonest service and unhygienic food! The so call “manager” smoked then proceed to serve food, totally unacceptable! Decided that we didn’t order enough food and continued to overcharge us by lying the 1 portion of rice isn’t included.

Totally lousy service time and again. It wasn't once but thrice where I had to get up from my chair and go to the counter. Despite expressing my concern to the restaurant in charge I couldn't a improvement in their approach. Totally unworthy of a second visit or a recommendation.
