Hidden gem for some homely yummy Thai food🤤priced affordably too! Service may be slower as there was only 1 lady serving/packing of tables/taking of orders outside while the rest were prepping the food.
Really enjoyed all the dishes today, will definitely come back to try other dishes!

Venue is located a 7min walk away from the MRT. Be prepared for nonexistent social distancing if you are walking over after knock off hours. Bus loads of people who will just bulldoze anyone in their paths and take up the entire walkway especially if you are in the opposite direction.
Once you survived that unpleasant walk, venue is located on the second level. Decor is simple and functional.
Outdoor seatings is available too.
The lady service crew is very sweet and offer only smiles throughout our dinner.
We ordered the basil leaves minced pork, Tom yum soup, Tom yum omelette and pad see ew.
The dishes were all delicious! The pad see ew has a familiar scent of wok hei, the texture were silky and flavourful, yet not too greasy. The basil leaves minced pork is spicy with a kick, so take note. The basil leaves lends it fragrance and the minced pork was well infused with it. The Tom yum omelette was well fried. It is what one would find in Thailand, where the egg is fried with a crispy exterior yet fluffy inside. The Tom yum notes were slightly subtle and great as a dish. The Tom yum soup was just addictive. It has that great blend of spiciness, sweetness, sourness and the aroma that just makes you unable to put down your spoon until the end.
The ambiance is nothing fancy but makes for a good cosy meal without the maddening crowd.
It is a quiet, humble joint that I would definitely go back again.

Kin Kin Thai has one of the most authentic tasting Thai food around the area, sticking true to the roots the Thai chefs do a unbelievable job with the Thai basil pork rice, it’s wok-hei flavour is undeniable.
I’ve eaten here many times , their Thai sour fish is incredible.
For its price point which is extremely affordable for food of its standard I am giving his 5 stars.

Waaaa dude I love this place so much, I keep coming back. but I'm gona be objective and break this review down.
Food: 9/10 - delicious. Spring rolls are OK only. Pineapple fried rice is yum and omelette is life.
Price: 7/10 - affordable for a casual diner but not over the top cheap
Service: 10/10 lovely little lady remembers your order perfectly all the time & is very attentive & polite
Ambience: so good I'm tempted to tell ya'll it's not good so you guys won't crash my secret hideout. But jokes aside, this place be so cosy. Very quiet and peaceful, I come here to avoid Singapore crowds.

Value for money. Tomyum noodles costs $7.50 and has 2 prawns and big pieces of fish. Definitely not from instant Tom yum paste. Probably made from scratch with lemongrass, lime leaves and galangal. If the fish was fresher, it will be a five star.

Tried the tomyam mama noodles. Hot and aromatic. Albeit a tad too sweet for my liking. But overall taste of it was fantastic. Taste of spices in soup were prominent. $7.50 for a decent bowl of it. Slightly above average pricing. Tried their Thai red milk tea too. Not a satisfying drink as I thought it would be. Could be better with a stronger taste of tea and less sweet. For the friendly and great service over there, I'd rate it 5 stars.

We had 2 dishes. The minced pork basil rice was good but not mind-blowing, and I felt the meat to rice ratio was a bit off, but the pad see ew was AMAZING. Beautifully seasoned and wonderfully smoky (i.e. wok hey). The fact that it's right next to the MRT tracks just adds to the appeal of this place. They also do mookata. The cooking here seems pretty good and we'll definitely be back to try their other dishes. Prices are very decent.
