A small retro cafe tucked away in the shop houses of kampong glam that serves local coffee, tea cakes, and local meals (curry chicken, ayam penyet, mee siam etc). Prices are affordable for the area and the ambience is nice and slow moving. Friendly staff.
Coffee is very nice and fragrant. Tried their food the last time I was here and I remember it being pretty delicious.

Nice and cosy little local cafe along Kandahar Street. Very friendly staff and the lady boss will go around chatting with you. The banana cake is super good, even wife agrees with it. A great place to chill with lots of local delights to try.

Interesting and great find at Kampung Glam area. For kopi and chill time. Ordered their sea salt kaya cake as well ($3.90) very soft in texture and pretty good kaya taste as well. worth it!
The kopi o can be stronger tasting in my opinion.
Very cheap price for a cafe to relax and read!
They also have handmade nonya kuehs!
Definitely coming back to do an in depth review with video.

Consistently tasty.
I have been there few times for the old Nyonya café kind of vide and for the delicious local food. The staff is super sweet and the food never fails to excites the taste buds. I would highly recommend the kuehs, the sea salt kaya toast (which also comes as a set with soft boiled eggs and a Kopi/Teh) or the Nasi Lemak. The chicken randang was to die for!

Passed by this place when visiting Arab place. Highly recommended. Nice and cosy cafe. First time trying nyonya laksa, it is very delicious. We think ayam penyet is the best dish here, chicken is juicy and the chili is great. The other dish that we order is ayam buah keluak, quite interesting flavor. I will definitely be back.

Found this hole in a wall cafe along Bugis!
Everything was so good- had the Sea Salt Kaya toast with eggs. The toast was crispy and fluffy, and had a good portion of cold butter. You won’t get this quality in most places (trust me I’ve tried).
The Kueh Kosui is also one of the best kuehs I’ve ever had. Not too sweet, and perfectly chewy and stretchy. If you like a chewy dessert, have this! We bought an extra packet too.
The chicken in the Ayam Penyet dish falls off the bone... so good!
Had the nasi lemak the previous I was here, and it was good as well. I think nothing goes wrong here. You must visit if you want to have something local, and especially if you want to dine in a cooler environment than a hawker centre.

Came across this little local coffee place, and had some kueh and drinks. Very nice place for traditional cakes. My mom loves their kueh lapis & yam cake! I love their lemongrass drink!
Ps. by the time I thought of taking photos, the kueh lapis is gone, & rainbow cake half-gone

Came here for old school coffee. Not bad, nice ambience and can see the coffee bartista is serious with her job. However, it feels disgusting to see someone taste every single cup of drinks she made (although with a new spoon). What if the spoon is not cleaned properly. As a consumer, feels disgusting to see someone taste your drinks before serving you. Please look into it as it seems unnecessary especially during this current pandemic.
