The conveyor belt did not have a lot of choices. This I feel is a good thing, you can order from a tablet and a little robot train Will deliver the food to your table. This reduces the waiting time and food like sashimi and sushi will be served fresh from the fridge.
Pricing is a bit on the high side but the quality is worth the price.
Service is a bit lacking; it took a while to get someone to count the plates even though the visit was done during off peak hours.

The place is found at a corner near the escalator which is good. Ordered the bara chirashi - the rice is quite dry which is unusual. The amount of fish meat is good enough for 2 person to share. I ordered a fried salmon fish meat at a very Low cost of $2.39. The green tea however has no taste. Overall experience is better than average but the rice made the after taste dry.

Nice cosy setting. Friendly staffs in beautiful kimono uniform. Reasonably priced food items that are yummy.

A little overpriced but I always love when my sushi comes around on a conveyor belt or is delivered by a little robot! Quality is about what you'd expect at the price point. Staff were friendly, and it wasn't overly crowded.

Pretty average sushi offering. OK if price is your main concern. They do other some benefits bentos as well. If you just want to have your fill of Japanese food and quality is not your top concern, they do have a wide selection to satisfy your needs.

They still haven't understood that no matter the aesthetics, the quality and standard of the food matters most. The oyako don I had that was on their "highly recommended" menu had 5 pieces of chicken, 2 bowls of rice and nothing in the way of the sauce that usually comes with a standard oyako don. Not inclined to ever patronize another Sakae outlet.

Pretty disappointing. Sushi didn’t taste fresh at all, tasted like it was leftover from lunchtime served at dinner, or old fish. Serving size very small for price. Chicken Katsu was ok, crispy but very oily & not the greatest cuts of chicken. Wouldn’t order again. Kazoku much better.

Service was slow at the novena square outlet. Food serving was also slow. Plates were dirty. Servers are not attentive, serve sushi but did not serve any fork and spoon for little kids. Lighting is so dim and yellow. Conveyor belt not working for one side.
