Review Chaoniu Hot Pot - Singapore

Beef lovers must check out their $158 Beef Feast! Me and my 3 beef-loving friends were completely satisfied with this meal! Quoting my friend, “Wow so full, but it’s a good kind of full.” 🤩 We marveled at the different cuts of beef. It was good that the meats were labelled so that we could enjoy the different textures in the most ideal sequence. They also indicated the amount of time to cook each cut so that we wouldn’t overcook these prized meats! 🤤 $158 Beef Feast consists of: - Cheek - Neck - Chuck - Sirloin - Blade - Topside - Shank - Flank - Meatball platter - Beef offal platter - Vegetable platter - Chaozhou Vermicelli We chose Beauty Collagen Broth (胶原美颜锅) and Signature Oxtail Broth (招牌牛尾锅). Both are light enough to drink and will not overwhelm the original taste of the meats. The oxtail broth has a comforting herbal flavour (药材味). 👍🏻 📣 Quote “Foodie67” to enjoy 1 free plate of pan-fried dumpling when you order the $158 Beef Feast, valid till 31st July 2022. 📣If you find my above review helpful, check out my IG @samlivestoeat for more foodie reviews! 🥰

Love the clear broth that is just perfect for all the beef that we had. Not sure how authentic it is as have not been to Chaosan for a beef feast hotpot. Quite happy with this one for those of us who loves beef We had the half Calf set for an assortment of about 5 different cuts of beef, meatball & rice vermicelli. Love the quaint & super cute vegetable platter that came in a cow shaped container. For lunch, there is also the price friendly set lunch at $19.90++ for a single pax serving. Ordering is pretty smooth with QR code ordering & payment is thru the app itself too. Service is super friendly & efficient. The servers were pretty good in assisting to cook the beef & ensuring that it's at it's optimum cooking time to ensure that beef is perfectly cooked. Can't wait to be back!

Tried out their $158 Beef Feast which consisted of: - Cheek - Neck - Chuck - Sirloin - Blade - Topside - Shank - Flank - Meatball platter - Beef offal platter - Vegetable platter - Chaozhou Vermicelli The entire feast was amazingly delicious and good for serving 3-4pax. I have ordered their signature Chao Shan Beef Broth which was light and not overpowering. Eventually it will becoming very tasty and appetising. Some of my favourite were the beef neck, cheek, tender beef balls and beef offal platter. And for forgetting to mention that their dipping sauces were superb, especially the Shacha sauce and Thai sauce. The whole set came with complimentary fruit platter.

Best beef focused hotpot in SG. They have all types of beef cuts and served to you with instructions on how long to cook them. The best cut was definitely the Chuck which was extremely soft and tender. They have very good services and dishes came very fast. The staff even gave us 15% discount as we had to wait longer because we gave up our table to another grp that had kids. Definitely coming back again.

ordered the clear beef broth and the collagen soup... the collagen is a must order! not too over powering... the beef platter was good enough to taste the different kinds of cuts... and to our surprise, they have amarone ! which is a 4.4 on vivno... will visit again soon...

First time trying this beef hotpot. The cut is pretty good for their signature beef but there's always hai di lao to set the standard of the mala soup. If you wanna try, you can skip the spicy soup base as it is too diluted. Do try the oxtail soup and also the shrimp and fish paste. Frozen toufu, beancurd rolls and melon slices are pretty usual. Will I go again? For the peacefulness of the surrounding, I will. Haidilao is sometimes too crowded and noisy. Price wise, it is comparable to Haidilao.

No travel plans for our June break thus we decided to go for staycation and review some of the restaurants in my list. Always love beef and together with hotpot, they make the best combination. We went with Chao Niu hotpot at Duo and it did not disappoint. Service from this restaurant is ranked one of my top three, it is this good. It is a very small cosy dark place, super ideal for gathering and couples who want to avoid the usual popular hotpot places. We ordered their signature beef broth and also 3 different beef cuts. They also have hot dishes, we went with the fried oyster omelette and it was good but maybe the chill may need some work. Other than their delicious beef, you would also need to order their thick vermicelli, it was a perfect match with the beef broth. There are other cuts of meat that I have yet to try so maybe I will visit them again someday. It's definitely a very interesting Teochew hotpot concept, coupled with the premium beef cuts that they offer here. Don't expect them to be like HDL, because they're not. Menu items aren't extensive at all, but they do have what you need to get going. Premium beef cuts, vegetables, and side dishes to go with the entire meal. Super love the topside beef cut (near the butt of the cow), very value for money, and yummy. The hokkien oyster omelette was quite a bomb. The pan fried dumplings explodes in your mouth. The cucumber salad and the mixed vegetables salad helped clean the palette. String it all up with their signature broths, you have yourself a solid meal for the evening.
