This is a management issue. The staff are either not well trained for morning crowded, or some issue happen on the 31st dec 2021 morning. Queue was long and on average it took 5mins to clear one customer in Q. This is located in a hospital area, people are in a rush most of the time. We are 6th in queue, this translates to 30mins wait just to place an order. I can only imagine prep time for food is even longer...not acceptable

Update. The signature thai boat beef noodle is bad and expensive. Avoid it please.

Their beef noodle is nice. Consumed many times already. But why I give 1 star which I normally don’t give? It is completely because of their Kent Ridge outlet yellow hair young lady cashier. The young yellow hair lady, who always talks as if customers owns her money. Not only just once. Every time! Not just to one customer. To many customers she talks like she is the boss of the customers and we all owe her money. I tried to ignore her rude and bossy tone of talking for many time, but this time no, as a customer I respect you, you at least should respect us as well.
I read the low ratings for this shop. Most of the complaints are complaining about the attitude issue. Seriously, most of the customers here at the Kent Ridge outlet are medical line staff, they work hard especially during pandemic period, why do they need to bear with such an arrogant and rude attitude?

The kaya and butter toast isn’t as good as what’s out there. Kaya is not as thick and not consistent throughout the toast.
The deluxe beef noodle is good! Generous serving of ingredients!

The dish washing uncle not well trained to work (i doublt he is trainable but i do not want to sound harsh) . I was at the KT Clementi outlet around 12.28 pm on Sat 16 April. I sat down at a table for one person but I found that the table has a shaky leg. So i tried to move away but i could not find another table for a single person. So i sat down at a table for 3 persons no choice. Then the dish washing uncle saw me and shout to me that i must move back to the shaky single person table and i am not allowed to sit at a bigger table. I replied that your that table is shaky and i almost spill my coffee. He still insisted and replied that other people also can sit why can't you. I was really feel very angry and shout back to him. Your other staff at site have witnessed this. Can you train the staff properly that they have scope of work, he is not customer service he should not yell at customer. Secondly, your other staff also kept quiet. Isn't that simple to just say we will fix the table and we all happy. Lastly, your coffee tasted sour ok not fresh. This was happening at Clementi mall outlet at 1230pml left your place at 12.45pm. Lol, what an unpleasant experience.

Food too salty, insane levels of sodium.
Ice lemon tea so sweet, can get diabetes and heart disease as side dishes already.. Irony is so many staff from NUH eat here despite this.

The young lady cashier with yellow hair is unfriendly, rude attitude, terrible customer service and no respect at all, basic manners also don't know (unaccepted)...
The way she take order like we own her money, not happy to service. We are giving u business but she find us like bothering her.
Do not recommend store at all, pls do yourself a favour and walk down a few steps to others store instead to avoid awful and rude service.

They served halal dish like thai noodles and several sweet snack. I’d try the beef noodles. I like the soup taste. The noodles was cooking perfectly. The beef were tender too. We can add the jalapeno pickles, sambal, and fish sauce. After eat, we’d to put the tray on the tray rack. They have bakso also in they menu.
