One of the hidden gems at the edge of the restaurant area of Tanjong Katong. This place is not nicely decorated nor is the service good. However, the meat platters are what we would come here for. For 40-60 dollars, you get a large platter that is enough for 2-3 people. The portions are generous, the meats are always cooked well and the sides that come with them are very tasty too. Great place to go when you are feeling extra hungry and don't mind getting your hands a bit dirty.

My first order (few months ago) includes steak, chicken and fish, all with different kind of sauce. Everything was served to me on a single plate, all lump together!
Ordered medium well steak and all was served to me as well done. To be honest, it's even worst than well done. All the steak was super rubbery/tough and hard to chew on. Won't be surprised if all are reheated.
Young cashier lady always on mobile phone, regardless whether you are asking for ice for your drinks or making payment.
Kang Sing
An affordable place to eat western food and chill with friends. It serves main course and platters. Their platters are absolutely gorgeous. Cheap and nice. Their staff were polite and friendly too. They close at 10.30pm so supper is out of the question. They do serve beer as well. Note that their juices are concentrated syrup and not fresh juices. Overall, this place is a must visit for meat lovers.

Man..where do all these youngsters come from? I really felt very old coming here haha...u can tell they will drink only soft drinks n water..hardly any alcohol... this place is really popular with the younger folks and it can get very very crowded! Service staff is also quite young crew..friendly but not really that that efficient. Took a while before our order was served. Now that I got that out of the way, let's look at the food quality:
Calamari - fried batter was thick and somewhat oily. Squid was so so. Not big on this one.
Chicken drumlets - didn't get to try this. Never arrived..probably waylaid between the kitchen and our table!
Premium meat platter - good size portion served and reasonably priced. Good for 3 to 4 pax unless you are one of those fast growing big eating youngsters.
Beef steaks - well seasoned (a bit salty) and grilled medium rare albeit they never actually ask how we would like it to be done. Pretty good.
Fish - grilled dory fish. Decent.
Chicken - grilled but dry. Didn't think much of the taste. Thumbs down for this.
Ribs- never got down to that. Just to full after eating the previous 3 stuff!
Overall, despite the msg o/d and average quality, the price is just so reasonable that its just worth going to this place for a meat binge at least once!
Now I see why the youngsters flock to this place. 3.5 stars

A nice place to chill with friends on Friday night, just that the location is kind of out of place. Pricing is quite affordable, as for the food quality I would say just slightly above average. Ordered my beef that is medium but it came in so red line medium-rare which is disappointing.

If you have group of people craving for grill meat, you may pick their group stater plate, which is for 2 to 3 pax. However, better go with people of 5 to 6 as the portion is really huge. From the point of food view, it just a normal grill meat. Do try their truffle. It is nice

Looks really good on their Facebook page with all the other blog posts however when me and my colleagues went down to try it out.. it was a one star experience.
Food standard was mostly ok during our meal, nothing special for buffets - expected that much. It was going good until they actually gave us raw meat.
Their service overall was sub par. We ordered pork ribs however it never came and we only found out they ran out of ribs after enquiring - they did not let us know themselves. Do keep in mind we actually arrived early and still couldn't get any ribs.
Speaking of which, their buffet starts at 11 as stated on their menu. They opened their shop at 11....
Not coming back here.

Went for the first time and was disappointed. And they gave me a 40% off for the second visit hoping to compensate me. Food service was still poor, and be expected to wait for more than an hour on peak periods. Food quality is less than average, with the same price, you can get better at hawker centers. Pasta is dreadful, with that amount of oil, America can invade the plate. If you are intending to come here to try, don't bother to make a visit. Don't let the price fool you, you are better off going to any other steak house.
