Will never come back again. First and last time. I can understand item we wanted from the menu were unavailable due to Chinese New Year season. What is horrible was the isn't a single sliced of mushroom in the "Braised Ee Fu noodles with mushroom" When we asked the boss, he just said maybe fried with other tables' order and happened not distribute to our plate. When I look around not even one table have the same noodles dish. Feel cheated... And it costs $10+service charge+gst...

Awful experience @e-avenue, Pasir Ris. Place is only filled partially with a few tables but food is dead slow coming out. Waited for at least an hour then we only had 4 bowls of rice given to us. We found out that rice was NOT ENOUGH. Egg is not fully cooked and I did not know that stir fry beef can be so raw in the center... FOR EVERY PIECE! Never going back again.

The food is very chinese traditional fare serve in a up class restaurant charging at an average price range. The crab is especially good for the traditional steam type. I like the Cha Siew & especially the roast pork with mustard sauce, it's a perfect combination.
Great ambience to hold business lunch & dinner for entrainment. Definitely suitable for family meals outing as the bonus is after a sumptuous meal, shop at the NTUC Fairprice Warehouse Club to digest along the way.

Crab does not come in good condition for the buffet price. 4 Pax one crab to share. Size was smaller than my palm. Do not waste time and your money to travel all the way there. By the way it did not put in the fine print. There is a time limit to eat too 1.5hrs. The rest of the food just normal zhi cha style where you can find any where part of Singapore. For the price we could get better selections.

Great food! 3rd visit, never let me down...top recommended dishes: chilli crab, cereal prawn, herbal prawn, hot plate seafood tofu... must come often to support, else it may close down due to low crowd....

The place severely under staffed. Hence the food came really slowly. We went there for the buffet, when the food was out of stock but we were not informed. Is my first time there but I will not return.

I came here a few times, and today I decided to try the crab beehoon soup. It’s savoury and creamy, they changed their recipe and it’s delicious compared to the past. They also have a promotion now, which is free chilli crab with expenditure of $88 before taxes. Both the crabs are fresh and the sauce for chilli crab is spicy and sweet. It tasted great with fried mantous. The crabs were meaty and we were very full and almost could not finish them. � I will definitely return, but probably order just one crab dish next time. We’re way too full!

I was there with my family.... really love the ambience and of course the food.
Car park was never a problem..ample of space to park n MRT station is just next to building.
To me the black pepper crab is better than chili crab.
Love their Tim Sum n the roast duck n pork...
Will definitely return to Makan!!!

Went for dinner yesterday and I mst say I'm surprise at the quality of the food!:) We chose the lobster for buffet and the portion is huge! All should try their salted egg crab Totally didn't expect it:) All the staffs were super friendly and cleared the plates off quickly after we were done with the dish. I had a really great experience and will definitely be back for more!

Was there for a delayed Mother's Day celebration. Ordered Peking Duck, Salted Egg Crab, Assam Fish, Drunken Prawns and 3 others veg dishes. Dishes were good as a whole. The services can be improved. They were not aware that we were not served with the sauces. The assam fish was wrapped in aluminium foil and was served in the wrap. Good to serve them in a plate for the ease of the customers.

I was there this evening for Father's Day dinner which I have made a reservation on 12 June. Upon arrival, I saw that the Father's Day menu had this offer at the bottom written "Make your reservation before 14th June to entitle 15% OFF!" I went to one of the staff and told her that I made the reservation on the 12th but was told instead that I didn't actually reserve which set menu I want from the Fathers' Day menu (which was not written anywhere) hence, not entitled to the 15% off.
Despite the excellent quality and taste of the dishes from the Father's Day set which we ordered, we were really upset that we weren't entitled to the 15% discount despite literally meeting the requirement of the discount.

Absolutely loves the chilli crab and black pepper crayfish. My father and husband is a picky seafood eater, but both only have great things to say about both dishes. Ordered also the soon hock, sauteed deer meat, veg and minced meat toufu, and all taste better than other restaurant. Lastly, from making resevations to the birthday celebration, the customer service was excellent. Highly recommended. 🖒

overall taste of the food are so good especially pepper crab and chili crab. I like pepper crab the most taste excellent :) though the prices are a little bit costly but definitely worth it.

This is the second time I experienced poor service at the restaurant. I decided to give them a chance as such incidents may be one off. Reserved a table but table was not prepared and they have to combine 2 rectangular tables only when we were there. Waiting time was an hour before parents in law decided to leave, as people who came (at least 2 tables) after us got their food served before us. One good thing was their honesty in telling us that the crab was no good shortly after we placed our order, and so they recommended for us to change it so plus one star for honesty (though we never got to eat the food eventually). Food quality based on 2 previous visits was average restuarant quality but pricing is fair and reasonable. I do not think I would travel all the way here just to eat. For crabs, there are a lot of options and I would just return to my regular haunts in future. I eat out often enough to know that mistakes happen. However, if my experience is such that 2 out of 3 visits are not up to mark, I would give it a miss in future.

I booked a table to celebrate our reunion dinner and paid a deposit of S$100. This was cancelled due to my Wife being hospitalised and stay in the hospital for over 2 months. The crab corner staffs wish my Wife a speedy recovery and we are able to redeem our deposit when we visited them nearly 10 months later. Thanks to Mei and all the staffs. Will surely recommends this seafood outlet to my friends and relative
