Absolutely love this place. The cakes has a limited variety but amazing taste. Near my place, so we go their often. Love the lemon cheese cake, Belgian Chocolate, Rose Lychee and my absolute favorite is Blu E. Do try!

Came across this shop by chance.. glad i decided to pop in to check out their shelves. The lady welcomed me in (which was another reason I decided to go in) and gave me a brief description of the variety available. She recommended a few flavors and I finally chose Rose Lychee. Was a good choice, the sponge cake was soft and fluffy. Lychee flavor lingered in my mouth.. For sure will go back to try other flavors.

The store at Tampines Hub had excellent hospitality, and their cakes were fantastic and unique. I tried the following: Takoh Belle, Chendol Fudge, Sayang, Earl Grey Shortcake, and Mango Sticky Rice, and all of them were simply excellent. Their fusion of local flavours into their products take their pastries a notch above their cake competitors offering an experience quite unlike any other. Recommended.

Only managed to try the chendol cake and the chocolate tart (with salted caramel base- not exactly sure of the name of this delicious goodie). Did not get to try the discontinued matcha lava cake which was the reason that drew me to try Out of The Cake Box. The chendol cake tasted just like the local dessert but in a solidified form. Could have more red beans though. But i really enjoyed my chocolate tart. The chocolate was not overly sweet (richness of the chocolate was just nice) and the salted caramel which thinly lined the base of the tart really complimented the chocolate well. Its good that the tart crust is thin and doesnt make one feel too heavy after eating it.

I experienced something unpleasant when I bought my cake from Tampines hub outlet. Since then, I have received apology from the provider and they have also compensated me for the price of the cake, along with a rose lychee cake. The rose lychee cake received good feedback from guests. We look forward to better experiences in future. Thumbs up for not deleting the negative review immediately and being speedy with customer service recovery.

Attended a cupcake baking & decorating workshop on 14 May 2016. The shop was conveniently located next to a mrt station. The kitchen was small but cosy as the bakers conducting the training were extremely friendly. I enjoyed myself very much and learnt many tips on cupcake baking. Would prefer to have more hands on with actual preparation of batter though.

Bumped into the shop in Tampines Hub and were introduced to the CNY cookies by the boss herself. The cookies tastes great but her passion for baking is even more contagious. Love the cereal prawn and prawn paste chicken cookies. Will be trying the cakes next!
