Atmosphere: Decent size table. A few large sitting areas.
Pros: Lots of students. Much better business after revamp. Can skip queue and order online using their app. Tap to wash hands. Fill your own drinks.
Cons: Sitting for 2 person are limited. Collect your own cutlery and serviettes .

Awesome place to eat piripiri chicken. The chicken tastes great and is juicy. The chicken skin has a nice smokey flavor. You can select your sauce, and even take different bottles of sauce to your table. The portions are large. The staff is friendly, but the service may be a bit slow. Go early as there may be a queue.

Nando's is a great place for food and very popular with young adults. They serve very nice food which is customisable to your taste, with a range of flavourings and spices. They have unlimited refillable drinks, alcoholic beverages and desserts.
I must admit I love Nando's but the prices are extortionate. The quality of the food is excellent but I still don't think this outweighs the price tag.
My experience eating in Nando's has always been excellent (I've been to numerous restaurants: Derby Marketplace, Derby Intu, Nottingham Guiltbrook, Wembley, Walton-on-Thames, York and more), however there has been one poor performance from Derby's Intu restaurant where the chips and mash came out cold, which I was starving and ended up waiting another 30 mins to eat while the rest of the group ate their meals.
Taking away is a completely different experience, advice to follow - always check your food before leaving (quality and amount; I like 10 extra hot wings that are crispy which I've had 8 and sometimes under-crisp and even burnt to charcoal), order your food and arrive 15-30 minutes late as you'll only be left waiting (Derby Intu I was waiting almost an hour for an order that was supposed to be ready in 15 mins).

Fantastic food as always! No service charge at this location and staff is very friendly. Soda machine is one of those coke flavor machines so get your cherry vanilla sprite here! Will definitely return!

Chicken was well cooked and it doesn't feel dry. Ordered hot spicy and I feel it could be more spicy. The boiled vegetables are tasty. Overall the food is great and fulfilling.

Great location. The Nando's Veggie burger was great especially with the hot peri peri sause! The hummus was yummy as well. However, the Pita bread served with the hummus gets cold when it reaches customer especially when ordered via ordering service app (FoodPanda). The cost is bit on the higher side but compared to the quality ingredients is Ok. Recommended to enjoy the food at restaurant premises rather ordering via Ordering service.

Update on 8 Sept 2019:
On my return trip today, the staff apologised for their mistake and offered to return the half chicken to me. At least, they admitted their mistake and made up for it. The quality of the food purchased today is up to satisfaction. Seeing their effort to improve their services and food quality so I decided to update this review and upgrade the rating of the stars (Changed the rating from initial 1 star to 3 stars). Did not give 5 stars as this is just a one-time good experience. But still have to see if their services and food quality are consistent, then will change the ratings accordingly in future.

At NEX, ordered a full platter and redeemed a half chicken using my rewards for takeaway. In the end when back home, then realised they did not pack in the half chicken that I used my points to redeem. Wrote in and raise the issue to nando's feedback but no reply from them. Very poor service! Chicken was overburnt too! I never had this problem at the Bishan Branch at all but a pity, it's closed. Bishan branch's service is excellent and its food is always up to satisfaction. This NEX branch is incomparable and disappointing!

Brilliant flavours! Had to wait a bit but the the food was totally worth the wait. It was hot, fresh, well cooked, well seasoned! Everything I could have asked for!
