I find the manager Ajay very disappointing, promised alot of things but it did not come true. Promised 15 car parking lots but only 12 lots were given on that day. Promised waiting staff on that day but to find out staff on the event day was told that there were not informed to wait for our event guests. Promised that tiffany chairs at a certain rate but chairs cost were only finalized on the 2nd day before actual event, which was higher costs than negotiated. Promised that venue will be an awesome place to hold event but during actual day, event venue were parked with cars from song of india restaurant cars infront of our booked venue and the place were littered with some used cardboxes and garbage. Promised for food tasting event on a particular date but no followup was done and it was almost cancelled till i had to call and enquire on the actual day of arranged food tasting on about the availability of the food choices, to my horror was informed only 3 dishes from nonveg and veg menues allowed for tasting but this was not informed from the onset during our event venue booking ! It was even almost cancelled till i had to make a complaint to Ajay directly and to inform i am ok to cancel the event and report to CASE On actual day, 22nd Dec 2019, Ajay was not even around and was told to liaise with another event space manager. Not all of my requirements was translated to Justin and it was an nightmare. Charged a premium for a circus, never going to go to them for an event space. I was also told that i was not allowed to bring my own beers, and that beers will be served in tap. But on the event day, beers were served in cans. I did my calculations and found that i paid almost $8 for a 330ml can of beer which was daylight robbery. Ajay did not bother to check on his projecter and speakers beforehand to see if we could play our videos on our ROM. On that day, we had to use the mic from an EXTERNAL DJ to place it on our projector. We had to appoint one person to be at the projector the whole time because of this. This whole experience was very unprofessional and we felt that ajay overpromised and under delivered at several occasions. I will not recommend this event space to anyone. Maybe at least until Ajay is replaced as the person in charge.

Absolutely horrible service and management. Booked this venue for my 21st birthday and regretted every part of it. The “manager” Mr Ajay had his eyes on the money the entire time and was finding every possible way to increase the bill. He promised many things in the beginning before we made the deposit, but as the event date got nearer more and more of our requests were denied/altered. Initially told me there was no other booking on the day of my event so I could have the room from 4.30pm. The NIGHT before the event he tells me that there will be another event prior to mine, so I can only have the room from 6pm earliest. I had to change many delivery timings, etc at the very last minute. I know this event venue is pretty but please don’t waste your time and money with them. Absolutely terrible customer service from the “manager” and the service provided by the staff during the event was horrible. If you want your event to be a memorable one, then please do yourself a favour and skip this place.

Nice ambience. Nice food. We chose the buffet lunch. Good selection of starters. The dessert was good too.. definitely recommended. Though prices are rationalized on weekdays over weekends..

Had a bad experience with @thecolonialatscotts. Already book appointment with them. About to leave house 1 hour earlier, I texted him to confirm my arrival. To my despair, he said to push back to 6pm as they had event. And what about mine? Asked him why didn't he informed me earlier or yesterday. He didn't answer me. I had to be the one asking and kept saying either it's 6pm or next time perhaps. Did not give an appropriate answer to me. Very irresponsible and selfish. My family and I had to take leave just for today. And all they could say is NO. Not even a sorry. How upsetting. It's suppose to be an happy event. Oh wait. Maybe they only cater to celebrities and Caucasian. Those who is lower to middle income people, is not important. They have already messed up today's appointment, wonder what else will they mess up on your special wedding day. If you want your wedding venue to go smoothly, please DO NOT hire them, really. Bad service. Event 'manager' or whoever is worse. Nobody is there to help, except with what they're good at, pushing your appointment to some other time when you have already made plans. Horrible service at its best. They are one good example that your wedding will go awry bad.

Nice building and good food, you can held birthday party, meeting or even just having lunch or dinner

Great location to hold any corporate events. It's roughly 5min walk away from Far East Plaza so location wise, it's certainly good enough.

We had an event indoors and outdoors. Indoors was nice. But lighting wasn't great outdoors.dark and trippable
