Review Tunglok Teahouse - Singapore

Stopped in here because it was one of the only places open late at night. They serve a limited menu during the night hours, i.e. 10pm to 5am. They have dumplings and noodles and few other dishes available, but not the full menu. Even though they weren't doing the full menu, we had plenty to chose from. The noodle soup was good too. This is definitely a good place to grab a meal. They also sell beer late at night when not many other places are selling alcohol, except bars. The bars are crazy expensive though ($15 Singaporean for a beer). The pork buns are great at this place and so are the super cute mushroom dumplings. Great concept. Recommended.

It’s surprising Tung Lok’s standard has dipped to such levels. The carrot cake skin is sticky and tough, obviously refried. The siewmai tasted like It’s cooked from a packet. The noodles are decent and the porridge was good. Overall quite a disappointing visit.

Good to eat from here and wait for your connection flight. Plenty of rooms. I like the food. More expensive than other airport restaurants.I ordered spicy chicken. It is very very spicy I couldn't eat it be careful if you don't like very spicy food .

food taste ok. not exceptionally delicious, just ok to fill in your stomach. ordered noodles and porridge, both having fried shallot on top, i think they're not necessary to be everywhere. porridge has some taste of msg. custard bub is ok, bun is not very soft. the filling is good. herbal jelly is nice

Seriously wished I read the reviews before coming. Looked like a decent place to get food, knew it was gonna be pricy but it was totally overpriced for such subpar food! Ever wondered what a $20++ chicken rice look like? It was not appetising. And I expected CHICKEN rice not plain white rice alongside it. Especially because my meal came much later than my mom's pork dumpling noodles (subpar as well) . Definitely walk away feeling ripped off and unhappy.

Restaurant is pretty spacious and has a good view of the aircraft landing and taking off outside of terminal 2. Food was average and were at a decent price point. Restaurant wasn't crowded even at lunch time. If you have craving for dim sum while waiting for your flight this is a decent choice. Otherwise there are many better restaurant that serves better dim sum outside the airport.

This is on the airside area in Terminal 2 or Changi Airport. I have eaten here several times in the past. Ambience and service is okay, but you don't get value for your money on the food. Below are the details. Ambience is decent. Like most places at Changi airport, it is done up alright with a view of the planes. The place could be a bit more cleaned up. There is usually no crowd here relative to the other food places nearby. Service is alright. Staff are always busy because of the low staffing raios typical of Singapore. They will often be busy so you have to get their attention for service. Food is over priced. This is the reason why this place gets 2 stars. The drink I got is priced at SGD5.05 before adding 10% service charge and GST of 7%. At about SGD5.90, it is approximately the price of a tall (this means small) latte in a Singapore Starbucks. The HK milk coffee was not great compared to the real deal in Hong Kong... or most cups of coffee, really... and should be priced closer to the local brewed coffee available all over Singapore, including the one a few meters away where a queue 10 deep was waiting at 7am in the morning. The shrimp dumpling (har gao) was priced at SGD7.60 before service and tax of 10% and 7% respectively. The three pieces are very small. While they tasted okay, it's a bit of an insult to give customers such small portions. I felt compelled to warn other customers. This restaurant basically charges full service rates for food that would be more acceptable at a self-service kiosk. It does explain why there is no queue here. Come and sit down and enjoy the view while you nurse a drink if you have time to wait for your flight but skip the food.

Taste of foods consider good... No service at all due to not enough workers to work
