The Fish and Chips at this Hans outlet in Bukit Merah is really quite good. Enjoyed biting into the crispy golden brown batter, and the dory fish was fresh and substantial. Best to eat it while it's hot to taste the crispiness. The corn soup however, lacked flavour as it wasn't thick enough. With the recent price increase, the Fish and Chips set now costs $11.80 (from $9.80), inclusive of a hot/cold drink and soup.

Whatever has happened to Hans? Too stingy to even provide a side of cut veggies and the gravy was watered down. On the bright side, the pork was tender and still juicy. Cleanliness of the dining environment could be much better as well. 5/10

Fried rice and teh siu dai were very good. Unfortunately, the beef stew and mushroom soup were lukewarm and the iced lemon tea was overwhelmingly sweet. Beer horfun used kway tiao and didn’t taste good. Portions were large for the prices. Self service.

As a trusted provider of affordable and tasty Hainanese/Western fare for more than 4 decades, the outlet here at Bt Merah central shares the usual traits of serving great food at budget pricing in a simple cosy setting.
Service is prompt and cordial. A great place for individuals or family dining friendly.
Always enjoy my afternoon tea with a vast array of pastries and puffs.

The cooking staff has maintained good quality standard of food as well as made good effort to churn out food fast and efficiently. However, the cleaner needs to step up and do her job well. Cutlery were observed to be dirty and tables not cleaned on time despite being "not busy" on a Sunday. Also, she created a lot of commotion when replenishing the cutlery , making the environment noisy and unpleasant for dining.

Set breakfast was reasonably priced, had sunny side up with ham. It appears that most tables are dirty and full of crumbs. Plenty of room to improve on cleanliness

Had a good lunch with my friend at this Hans outlet at Bukit Merah. Staff from whom we ordered is a very nice and helpful auntie who showed us what are the specials of the day and where to go get our drinks and culteries. I had vegetarian fried rice with a sunny side up which I always love from any Hans outlet. And my friend ordered a chicken chop with mushroom sauce.

The place is like a modern school canteen. Tried Bacon and egg fried rice, and tasted really good! The additional Peach tart and Coffee were decent. The $12.20 cost in total wasn’t very economical to me but will probably come back there again. Arriving and ordering before 8:30pm is recommended since they aim to close there on, if not by, 9.
