Review Greendot - Singapore

Taste of food gotten better to last time when they open on Level 1. Family went there to eat, ordered their burger, herbal soup yong tau foo, laksa & some beancurd as sides. Food portion is good, not small. Filling. Taste is good, the herbal soul taste great. Servicing is also fast. No complain. Only thing I can feedback is that they sitting area is quite small, compare to when they were are level 1, can be hard to find seats when it gets busy. Other than that it's a place I would recommend.

Always the best to go for vegetarian. I love their curry rice and bento set so much. If not sure what to eat , this restaurant always the safer choice 👍

Eating veg to reduce foot print to save our Mother Earth 🌍. This is atas veg stall, from Taiwan 🇹🇼. price is also atas. Clean, and attractive selection of dishes , there are 8 of them, actually quite limited. There are fee rice 🍚 to choose to, white rice, brown rice, sesame rice & turmeric rice (+0.50). They also serve burgers 🍔, handmade noodles 🍜, monkey head mushroom 🍄 pau etc Overall food was decent and nice air con environment.

Thanks for a nice vegetarian dinner. Was so happy you made the crispy soy freshly for us and the crunchy soy burger was delicious. Staff were friendly. Keep it up.

No crowd management, bad customer service (some of the staff are very rude), and not young kid friendly. Went there on sunday night and the restaurant was quite packed. I joined the only queue (as at the start of the queue there was a sign stating "please wait to be seated") When reached my turn, the staff told me i have to find a seat first and rejected to take my order. If you want your customer themselves to find seat first, you should put a sign there. And you shouldn't put a sign telling people "please wait to be seated" at the start of the queue which is very confusing. Finally we found a seat and food was served quite fast. We asked for an empty bowl (the noodle bowl) for my toddler, the lady who served the food told us to go to the counter to take. My husband went and the lady gave him an empty small soup bowl which is impossible for my toddler to use it to eat as it was really too small. When my husband asked for a bigger bowl, another lady at the counter SHOUTED at my husband there wasn't bigger bowl. (I guess the business is really too good and the staff really don't bother about customer service). Luckily another very kind lady rescued the situation and went into the kitchen and got us a bigger bowl. If not for this kind lady, I will not give any star. Food is definitely overpriced and really so-so only. The taste of the food is not consistent (ie: the mee pok was very salty but the week before, it was quite tasteless)

Have decided to boycott this chain. Judge for yourself. Look at the reply that is defensive, unapologetic and sounds angry? So the practise of disrespecting customer is from top to bottom. No wonder even the staffs are so rude. Times are bad. F&B is hard. But many still manage to maintain customer dining experience. Staff was so rude. What about the part about them being rude to the other customers? No explanation? This is gaslighting. Service, product quality and customer’s experience has worsen. Can see the staff calculating how many pieces of broccoli to give. (Comment from owner underneath shamelessly justify that standard food portion is to “minimise food wastage”.) Also, have started ⚠️charging 30 cents for chilli. When trying to clarity, staff simply got defensive and claimed it has been an “old practise”. Staff argued with an old lady next to my table on the price of her “economy” rice which cost $11.90 when the old lady didn’t understand how it amounted to that. Instead of explaining to her patiently, they were disrespectful and impatient towards her too. Another stranger at the next table was also baffled when she was told to pay 30 cents for chilli. 🤷🏻‍♀️ In the end, the only 3 tables occupied were upset and disappointed customers. Is this the way to do business? Is this the kind of vegetarian chain you would wanna support? Inflation is high. Business is hard these days. But there are other ways to cut cost, while maintaining our dining experience. 😊 kindly take note.

Another satisfied serving from the bento set. I especially like the QQ tofu and broccoli! The delicious taste never fail to brighten my day. Great dining at Green Dot!

Signature laksa is good, reasonable portion for $7.90+ and also has ample ingredients though could have slightly more mushrooms. Ordered some of their main dishes to eat, the sweet and sour soya nuggets are delicious and the portion is quite substantial when ordering ala carte but the veg is way too salty. Agree that their bento sets could have been slightly cheaper but I guess it’s the ambience in a mall that you are paying (their rental) for.
