Simple clean nasi lemak, the main attraction is the variety of additions to it. There is also good mee rebus. They have a range of cheap options too, for those who are not looking for the lobster or smoked duck. Clean place, convenient parking space. Definitely worth trying.

Take note, there are two coffee shops. One is a communal one with a variety of stalls and the other is Lawa Bintang. The communal coffee shop is facing the road so you will see it first. Lawa Bintang is hidden on the left side of block the block (while facing the communal coffee shop). I thought I was in the wrong place. Due to the inclement weather, the place was empty baring two "makciks" talking at one of the tables. I headed to the counter and bought the nasi lemak lobster with fried drumstick and mineral water. SGD25.50. Waited for about 10-20 mins. Once the food arrived, I was shocked at the size of the lobster. I thought it was going to be huge but it is manageable in size. Note, my first time eating lobster so I do not have any idea how big or small it should be. I immediately mixed the rice with the sambal. The rice tasted different from other nasi lemak. Not as "lemak" but that's a good thing. Not overpowering. I dug into the lobster meat and it tasted creamy. More creamy than cheesy. Pleasant taste. Just nice for 1. 4 stars for it. The star of the show was the drumstick. It had the right amount of crunch and the seasoning was spot on. 5 stars for the drumstick. Highly recommended. Overall a satisfying meal.

There is no update about the closure of the shop :( made a wasted trip there. The shop has been changed to a Thai shop. So disappointed.

Long queue one thing. Why dont u limit the no. of takeaway food when there is a long line. When its our turn to order, u told us there is no lobster anymore. BUT people who are after us in the freaking queue,mind u, they gt lobster. Not one but a couple of them. � *u guys fish those lobster somewhere huh?

Simply delicious and cheap. For $22 a plate with one whole freshly grilled lobster topped with cheese and an authentic taste of nasi lemak, one can't find such dish anywhere in Singapore. Hope you guys continue to give such good service. I don't mind the kedai-kopi setup so long the price remains. Will definitely be visiting more in future to have a taste of other side dishes.

Service was simply horrendous. Was there at 9.15am today wanting to try for the 1st time. I was 2nd in queue. By the time the customer in front of me had taken her order I ended up waiting for 20min yet order was not taken. The owners and staff were too busy to even have the courtesy to tell us to wait while the queue got longer as minutes ticked away. They should have someone whose task is just to take orders but that's not the case. Since they don't need our business we just left. Even if the food is out of this world will never patronise this place. I suppose its meant for true die hards who don't mind being at the mercy of bad service.

Waited for 3hr and 40mins on a National day. Lobster were sold out at around 1145am. The queue are moving way too slow. They should have a limit for per take away. Saw a few people taking away in 10 packets!! I think is not every fair to people that came down early and queue an yet almost EVERYTHING is sold out! But I feel the way they prepare food can be improve. Since they knew people are here for the lobster. They should have just keep cooking and not wait till the order came in. As for their salmon. The seasoning is good and they cook it just nice. But again, I don't think is worth for a 3hr+ waiting time.

Expect long queue, finally got to order nasi lemak lobster n we tried the prawn one as well.. So sedap. lobster was fresh n meaty plus the sauce conpliments the taste.chicken too was crispy n fried with some herb n spices... sambal was good.. every proportion was well-balanced..

we went to have breakfast last wednesday around 10am before our trip to Ikea. first visit for us, no queue at all. ordered the lobster set and grill sotong set. waited around 30mins for the food which i think is reasonable. lobster was awesome, blended well with the basmati(?) rice. sambal was great. sotong was good too but would prefer them to cut it into smaller pieces next time. definitely will drop by again.

I had the most delicious Nasi Lemak at Lawa Bintang! I love that she uses basmati rice I stead of normal rice. The fish was succulent , lobster perfectly cooked and the chicken wing is so crispy outside and soft inside! The sambal is just right..not overly spicy. This Nasi Lemak is a must try!

First visit today and enjoyed the Nasi Lemak Sotong. Price point wise is okay for the large Sotong serving and excellent bismati rice.

Alhamdulllilah finally for B'day Boy �� Everything was a breeze. Short queue and the service was fast and friendly!! My b'day boy was excited for the lobster. He loved it!! I prefer chicken instead but actually wanting to try others as well... Rice was perfect and fluffy, chicken is crispy and hot...Everything combined was so delicious!!!
