Attentive & surprisingly great service! Their claypot porridges are still great (even after many years we tried at their first branch). Abalone versions are OK, given the price. Vegetable dishes are surprisingly good.
Fried rices are great (not oily) & could be customised. Highly recommended, especially when you’re a bit unwell.

I would like to compliment on the service, patience and mindfulness that the whole roster of service staff of Aone Tiong Bahru Plaza 30-06-2022.
Myself being in the F&B business, I have felt the warm welcome that your staff have kindly ushered us to our Seats and specific your staff by the name of Dai Hong attend to my wife and mine, very strict dietary needs and restrictions. While many restaurants has turn us away. A One Tiong Bahru made it work with delicious meals as well. I would say the A One Service from your staff is Really Remarkable.
Thank you

We had the CNY 4 dishes set lunch plus yu sheng, total $125 net including tea, nuts, achar, tax & svc charge. The yu sheng is good, not too sweet, as well as the porridge. The other 3 dishes are also ok. Pleasant environment and friendly serving staff. Will be back.

Let's not talk about quality first, let's talk about quantity.
I ordered meesua with shrimp and scallop (924 in the menu). It's not even half bowl full once I received it for pick up. I picked it up and I'm wondering, this is is? It was so light.
See photo on what they served inside (the food was still not eaten yet). A few bean sprouts, a few cabbage leaves, some tiny prawns and scallop. Very little amount.
At this point I haven't tried it yet but I guess it'll be just average Meesua, how different can it be right from other meesua?
This costs 15 dollar, and with the 30percent disc it's 10.40 dollar but it's so so overpriced.
Will buy from them again? Never.

First time and also the last time . Worst experience ever. Waitress serve a small plate of peanut and acha when we sit down, dint even mention is chargeable and it cost about $7 for this 2 item, thought was complimentary by the restaurant like other korean restaurants. The 10% svc charge was quite unreasonable as well when the service is not even on par with any decent restaurant. Food was meh. 10/10 will not return.

Porridge is good but pricy, service is ok I guess. Remember to reject the appetizers if you cheapskate like me, whatever wet tissue you don't use you can return at the cashier also.

A-One sits at a price range that's a little lower than the casual range of Crystal Jade, Paradise and Imperial Treasure outlets, especially their 1-for-1 porridge deals during off peak hours on weekdays. This visit, I tucked into their shredded chicken porridge and fried vermicelli. Pretty alright, no complaints. Take note to decline the fried fish skin and braised peanuts if you aren't into them as they do add to the bill unnecessarily.

Very good variety of porridge and other Claypot items! We loved the black Pepper crab vermicelli too, but it's a little too spicy for young kids to handle. Their century egg porridge with scallops was absolutely delicious!
There is usually no queue at this branch - good for a slow lunch.
