I have tried this tea house before covid time. The queue not as long as before covid time, we able to get a 4 person seat within 5 mins during weekend dinner time. Hor fun and signature fried rice taste a bit different now. Wok hey smell not as strong as last time. Prawn paste chicken still maintain its standard. hong kong iced tea now come with vanilla ice cream. Sesame paste dessert as good as last time.

Returning for the 2nd time in 6 months. The first time i ordered wanton mee and chicken wing which was decent. The chicken wing was well marinated and tasty and i will give 4 stars for it. This time i ordered the signature pepper hor fun and wan chai signature fried rice. I am totally disappointed with the hor fun. Look at the pictures, which part looks like the “black pepper”? U can see v little pepper if u zoom in. Nothing to shout out for the fried rice too. The chicken wings are still good and tasty. N i ordered 2 portions. 1 portion is SGD8.20. Its slightly experience so u judge if it is worth it. You dont feel any warmness in the customer service. The kid beside my table spill some water on the table and the kid asked the service staff for a table cloth. The service staff saw the spillage, passed the cloth n walk off. I dont know if the service staff was trying to train the kid or just dont care. I dont think i will be visiting again soon considering i can get better food standard with better customer service and same price range within the same building.

This is probably one of the worst places to eat . Why ? 1. Price was almost extortion for miserable food portions that look more like rations. 2. Taste was worse than the price - meh and only the 酥脆鲜虾水饺 prawn dumplings were salvageable. The hei-zhor or prawn roll was full of flour and stale. Should be called fen-zhor. The dumpling noodles were just sad. 3. Service was terrible. We were only given ONE PAIR of chopsticks. When I politely asked for another pair, she told me that "company policy is one pair for one plate of noodles". It's not as if we ordered only one plate of noodles; we ardered OTHER ITEMS including drinks. Even if we had just ordered one plate of noodles , there are 2 of us so is one of us supposed to eat with our hands like a caveman ? She refused to bring the pair so I got up and went to the counter to take another pair of chopsticks myself. She could not be bothered and walked off. We then asked for the manager to come but she took her own sweet time to come but since we could see her sitting at her seat, and she saw us too, she had no choice but to come attend to us reluctantly. She went on to justify for the lousy attitude of that female server ( in the picture ) and that it is company policy. When we pressed on, she noticed that other customers were looking at our table , instead of apologizing for the lousy service, she started thanking us loudly for our continued support when we said NOTHING about coming back. Really sly move . This place is a joke.

Overpriced food, most importantly, they wasn't tasty at all. Customer service wasn't very pleasant, waited about 30mins for 1 plate of hor fun, while the rest of us finished our food. their pork chop burger was sloppy and oily

Located on the 3rd level of IMM and to head over, alight at green MRT line of Jurong East interchange to take the J-Walk over. They are located in between Daiso and HaiDiLao. Their restaurant is modeled exactly like those typical restaurant tea houses in Hong Kong but to save on service charge, you select the dishes on a paper menu and head over to the counter to verify your order by paying before your food is served to you. Unlike those tea houses in Hong Kong, the tradition of the waiter taking your order and reciting the specials of the day, it is not seen here thus their concept is lackluster in my opinion. Food in Hong Kong tea houses were generally never fantastic and more down to earth affordable food that is served to your quickly thus you should not expect food that tastes fantastic. Food by local Wan Chai HK Tea Room is acceptable with their menu resembling menu from Hong Kong with better taste at a more costly price tag. You should give it a try if you wish to taste nostalgic menu from Hong Kong tea houses without leaving Singapore.

Most of the food here is pretty average. It’s not bad, but it’s not exactly what I would deliberately travel to IMM for either. There is still a pretty sizable lunch time crowd though. What we really enjoyed are the chicken wings and also the milk tea. Both are star dishes and gladly give 5 stars for both of these. The rest of the 4 noodle dishes (beef horfun, beef brisket noodle, beef crispy fried noodle, wonton mee) and side dishes (fried dumplings and carrot cake not pictured) are just alright. Fried rice was really fragrant but somehow it’s quite dry. If there is a noodle dish that I would re order, it would be the soupy beef brisket noodle.

Located on3rd floor of IMM Jurong, just at the entrance of Daiso. Food here is reflective of what to expect from a Hong Kong char chan teng, quality is acceptable, taste is near to Hong Kong standards. Kitchen looks dimly lit to immerse the chefs in the Hong Kong atmosphere so that they are able to churn out Hong Kong style food. An overall ok place to dine in whenever you miss Hong Kong.

Wasn't attended to by any staff. Overpriced food and extremely salty soup that came with dumpling noodles ordered. Noodles and dumplings (very thick skin) were cold when served and noodles lumped together with a rather strong alkaline taste. Will not return...
