Review Kopitiam - Singapore

It is written 80 cents per piece for kaya butter toast a la carte. I wanted to get just a piece and a coffee. The counter auntie said that they do not sell just one piece and one piece of toast can only be sold for add on. It does not make sense as it is not specified that way on the board . The bread is not crispy at all . It appears and tastes so different from the pictures on the board . Not worth the money .

Do not fall for this scam. This offered price of $1.80 for Cheng tng is only for cold, not hot, though on their poster they indicate offered price for both hot and cold. Rather dishonest business method.

One of the worst food courts. - today the auntie cleaner knocked me with her trolley while I was waiting to get the mixed rice. She didn’t say a word and looked angry. I was in the queue with more than 5 people in the mix rice waiting area. If she felt us blocked her way she could have just told us to move instead of knocking a girl in white with your trash trolley. - the safe entrance is meaningless. The lady staff at the safe entrance usually playing her phone, not even paying attention to the people enter in. - as other comments mentioned, dirty, oily, noisy, and def not cheap. If I can give 0 start I def will.

Today i went to buy chicken drumstick with rice. The young man with golden hair talked alot about kampung chicken which cost $6.30 (30 cts for the box). I was confused as the pictures showed $5.40. I apologised and asked him to repeat what he said/promoted. He said kampung chicken is more expensive. I asked him how about the set meal with beansprouts. He said that one was normal chicken. By the time he finished talking, my food already packeted and had to pay $6.30 for each packet. I felt cheated by this boy. When i reached home, the kompong chicken meat not nice at all and the rice cold....

I have been staying at Buangkok MRT for 3 years n have been having some issues with the drink stalls. The previous auntie can barely understand English which is pretty bad because Singapore is international country.. Not everybody speaks Chinese. Recently there is a new auntie works there. The auntie is pretty slow. I ordered 2 kopi c losing ping and request to put in the plastic. She can't understand and almost want to give me hot and straight before she finish (lucky she is slow.. So I have time to see what she is doing) I told her.. Auntie.... I ordered kopi c kosonng bing leh. And when I paid.. I actually reminded her because I feel the price was not right. She made the kopi.. After that I asked whether I should top up.. She enter some number on the monitor and I saw "2.60" on the screen.. I didn't ask much.. But my card had insufficient balance, so I decided to top up using grab pay and paid "2.60"... I showed her the receipt and she said.. Ehh it is 1.40 only why u put 2.60.. Then I told her that I saw form the screen. All the uncles behind me look annoyed by me.. But actually the auntie was the one that was very slow.. And she gave me 1 dollar.. I went to the top up machine and check my balance and my balance is actually enough for that 1.40 so She really put a wrong number(2.60) Advice.. Every customer have their own business.. They might rush for work rush to go home after they tiring day... And if u have this kind of staff that waste people's time and make people feel even more stressed and tired after their long day.. I think u should rethink on how to train them before leave them to operate the cashier alone. I won't say that u can't hire them, but advice to koptiam to train them properly. Sorry that I might sound a bit too much.. I experienced this a few times at the drink stalls but just today I was tired and think that this might happen to other people too.

Very unpleasant dine-in place. Dirty, oily, and hot. Ordered $6 oyster egg with no oyster, bad attitude as well. Mixed rice stall was very dirty too. Kinda wasted this good location, should have managed better.
