Review Connoisseur Concerto - Singapore

In the 1980s, Centrepoint was one of the prominent malls of Singapore, along with Wisma Atria, Plaza Singapura and Shaw House then. Paragon then was the ION or Shoppes @MBS with the luxury brands. Owned by Frasers Property, the mall has been totally revamped from the initial main anchors like Metro to a vibrant younger tenant mix which includes Decathalon, JustCo, Aston’s, Ding Tai Fung and popular Korean cafe, dal.komm COFFEE. With the last renovation completed during pandemic, the mall deserves a visit.👍🏼

This mall is less crowded as before but still offers quite a lot of eateries and shops. The new Decathlon shop is a nice place for shopping sports goods.

Very nice and spacious mall with a quiet ambience. Loved patronising the restaurants here as most of them are good and nice. Basement area also has a wide assortment of different types of restaurants. There are numerous spas for facials and massages here too.

A place to relax with a wide choice of local and international eateries, and cafes. Located at the back are up-market spas, hair salons and specialist clinics. Conveniently accessed via Orchard Central, one can escape to peace and quiet, yet right in the middle of Orchard area

It is sad to see to many F&B shops were closed in this mall. Even popular spots like the one with Mom's Touch, the shops there keep on closing. Is this covid or economy? The Food Street, the Japanese restaurants, all gone. Hope the management can find a way to make this mall more lively.

This place had changed much since last visit 3 years ago. There were some shops closed n some changed it was not as crowded as before. Saw most of the visitors came here for lunch n take away. Hopefully more shops are open n can bring back the crowd.

One of my frequently visited shopping mall in Orchard for food and sport items. It has underground tunnel linking up to Orchard Gateway where you don’t have to worry at rainy days to access to the MRT station. There are some good restaurants in here. 👍

Shops are still open but the place is rather quiet now.

Although the staff were very polite and understanding, I am absolutely disgusted by the attitude of the boss. My friends and I came down for dinner here, but one of our friends had a very urgent matter to attend to and had to leave after ordering. She informed the staff about this to cancel the order and they acknowledged. 10 minutes after our friend left, an angry man came with the tonkatsu set that was initially ordered and cancelled. After leaving the set on our table, the man argued that we have wasted the food and stated very rudely that they wasted $7 for the preparation of the food. (btw the tonkatsu set cost $17.80, and now we know that the cost to prepare that was $7) Before we could explain our situation, that man just walked off and left the tonkatsu on the table. So he expected us to eat and pay for this cancelled order. Trying not to make a fuss out of it, my friend decided to take this instead of the katsudon that she initially ordered. After talking to the staff, we realised that he is the boss of the restaurant. Well, let's see, we travelled all the way down to this place for the food and we got such a 'magnificent' service by the owner of this place. (yes, we travelled down to somerset, just to try out the food in Misato) Are we that bored to go all the way there to order food just to cancel it? And if we really did plan to do such a silly thing, are we that stupid to stay there after cancelling the order? Are we that dumb to travel all the way to the place just to order, cancel, and get scolded by the owner of the restaurant? If it is not that there was really an urgent matter, do you think that there is a need for our friend to cancel the order and leave? Ohya, did I mention the waiting time? It takes a freaking hour for the food to come after the order was taken (to be precise it was 1hour 10 minutes). I am not a believer of "customer is always right", but that does not mean that customer service should be compromised. I know that from the restaurant point of view, if we did not accept the food that was prepared, they would have lose money ($7 as quoted by the owner). However, that was certainly not the way to treat customer. The owner simply came over and scolded us that we have wasted their food without understanding our situation. Wow certainly an interesting way to treat a customer. Totally humiliating! He could have explain his situation to us and ask if we can take this instead. We are not that demanding. And in fact, we even took the cancelled tonkatsu set after his humiliating remarks. Well, no matter how great the food was, this will be the first and certainly the last time that I am visiting this place. Sadly, I did enjoy the food, but only the food, nothing else. "Misato: A place where the boss is always right, and right to treat customer however he likes."

The place is small and cozy but it contain the passion of the owner. It is a place that show respect for the quality of food. Aroma and sizzling sound from the freshly served. Every portion of the food had shown a result of the detailed display of patient. Seen countless effort put in by the chefs. Definitely a place worth a visit. Good for family and friends gathering or chilling. Great food served at an Affordable price.

Misato itself is a unique place. Never will you find another place like this in singapore. From presentation of the food to the tableware, everything you touch throughout the entire experience is an art. Although the waiting time is long, the kind waitresses are always having a smile on them despite the long queue. The kitchen staff were doing their best too. Thank you very much. I w9uld certainly come here again.

I asked to cancel my order after waited for more than half hour. During the half hour wait, they didn’t serve me my drink till after I’ve asked for them to check if my orders are being prepared, as I would like to cancel them. Then they have to deliberately serve my drink just before telling me that the kitchen haven’t even started preparing my food. In the end, I requested to cancel the rest of my order, pay for the drink and leave. Many customers before me were still waiting for their order as my wife and I left the restaurant. I felt that they should’ve been more honest and professional to inform customers about the ridiculous long wait first before taking their orders.

Would highly recommend this place if you are looking for high quality and authentic Japanese food! The presentation of the food as well as the cutlery used was very exquisite, and the server took time to explain to us the best way to have our food. The ingredients used was also very fresh. The mochi dessert was one of the best we ever tested. Will definitely come back again to try the other dishes!

Had good memories since it was at Cathay. Visited there once they reopened at Centrepoint. I have to say the place is really hidden, and it was not a full menu when I ate there. But every dish has good presentation and nice taste. Manpower was limited but services were very warm. Impressed by the boss of his perseverance of quality. Will definitely recommend friends to go again!

They are at the moment closed on Mondays, so plan it for another day. Dinner time is always crazy all over Singapore, seats are hard to come by, try dropping by for a late lunch or early dinner instead. My good friend and I had lunch at 3:30 on a Saturday afternoon, as I was late she sent me a picture of her green tea served in the prettiest cup ever and a cute copper teapot-esque thingie which got me really excited because Finally we were going to have A5 Wagyu at below $50! (Albeit 100g but even though we split it, it was enough) I ordered the cha soba to go with the wagyu and my friend had the salmon set. We were chatting the whole time but we finished the meal well before 5pm at snail's pace. The meals were lovingly prepared and the waitress went over each individual item when the wagyu was served; most items are quite foreign to me so I was thankful for the introduction. We asked for tea refills quite a few times and they obliged with no additional charges. The cha soba was light and the noodles were done perfectly, plain enough to match the miso in the wagyu but tasty enough to have it on its own. My friend finished all of her salmon so I presume it was very lovely too. The crockery is very insta worthy and the lighting there is good enough for photos. Do ask for a toothpick to take a picture with the holder, it is very cute! Thank you for the delightful meal! Gochisosamadeshita!

I went to Misato with a group of 14 people. The Misato team kindly offered us the option to pre-order and that reduced the waiting time for our food significantly. I ordered the Oyakodon as well as the A5 Wagyu beef. I was impressed by the beautiful presentation of the food which were served on exquisite lacquerware. The effort that the Misato team took in the preparation of the food was evident in both the Oyakodon and the wagyu beef, which were absolutely delicious. Overall, I would highly recommend Misato!

Brought my hubby there on his birthday today to try the Hoba A5 Wagyu beef. It is tender and succulent with a melt in your mouth texture. Felt great as I gotta try the “Japan Top 3 Wagyu” and it's impressive. The okonomiyaki is aromatic and flavourful but a little tad too salty for our liking. However, I do enjoy the cabbage's crunchiness and the crisp pork belly in it. The waitresses were friendly and attentive. They spent time explaining to us the various dishes upon serving so that we've a better understanding of the ingredients used. Overall, the dishes were tasty and look appealing as the chef invested a substantial amount on the tableware. However, the selection was limited as some of them were unavailable.

The food was excellent... Totally a hidden gem... Maybe it's Valentine's eve, the food were prepared with love (heartshaped) and spoons for desert too. Every taste of the A5 hoba beef yummilicious. Definitely would go back and try the other stuff as well.

Service by Joan was exceptionally great. She introduced the menu thoroughly and made recommendations. Service, ambience and food quality is 10/10! Will definitely recommend to others! Will be back again! I had the Okonomiyaki and the 6pcs Gyoza!

Need to be patient with the long wait for the delicious food. Thumb up for giving extra set of cutlery for a bowl of desert, when we have two diners but only ordered a desert. This exceeded our expectations in delivery good services. Will return to try other food. Thanks for delicious food.

Excellent service and kind staff. Food is served with authentic Japanese cutlery in a fine dining manner at affordable prices! Must try list includes Okonomiyaki, Ebi Donburi, Seafood Kabinabe Soup (misato really managed to bring out the sweetness and saltiness of fresh seafood!) and Gyoza. :) The mochi was also commendable as it melted in our mouths! Loved the syrup drizzle that accompanied it! Will be back to try other things in their menu!

The food was delectable and the tableware was simply exquisite. My dining partner and I were wowed by the beautiful presentation of the food and had a great dining experience. The service was good and the food was reasonably priced too. I'll definitely recommend Misato to all my friends. I will be back soon again.

Ate the most basic dish (katsudon) and was simply amazed by how good it is! The dish came in a unique and pretty looking tray which instantly makes the dish looks exquisite. The katsudon - meat was tender and the eggs were perfect!! will definitely go back! (Only bad thing is the pretty tray was too big for the small tables )

Chance upon this place and totally happy to dine here! Just the presentation of the food alone perks me up, not to say the quality of the food. Totally coming back for more!
