Very nice interior which is soothing to enjoy a cup of coffee. Was there last Saturday and it's situated in the community centre. Coffee was only ok, would prefer a more robust taste. Had to wait long for the dish to be serve. My salad had no sauce or anything to go with, it was just salad which makes it taste a bit raw. Overall if you have the time to chill like really long it's not a bad place.

Comfortable settings, decently priced food options, and great coffee to top it off. The tiny roaster’s coffee could start to be featured here more often, so that’s an extra plus!

Had afternoon tea here. The spiced Persian tea is really nice, tasted like plum juice laced with cinnamon.
The truffle fries are very mediocre, insufficient taste and flavor. The filtered coffee is litterally a daylight robbery. $7 for about 100ml of coffee.

Came here for Tiny Roaster’s coffee and was pleasantly surprised to find such a lovely quiet cafe in the neighbourhood. Decor is tasteful and the atmosphere is serene. Will be coming back to try the food! A hidden gem.

Quiet cafe in Hillview CC, overall a nice ambience! Food is good, bit slightly pricey. Coffee ia too milky for our liking.

Nice quiet cafe with good food. Bacon steak crossiant w the spicy sauce was especially on point. A hidden gem in the neighbourhood!

Good vibes, nice ambience, lovely service with attention to detail. Unique design choice, nice and cozy place that isn't too crowded in the morning. Great for a get together over a meal. Food is good, fusion between japanese and western. Ordered their colossal beef bowl and Popeye. The beef bowl had generous portions of tender beef although a little too salty for my taste but was really yummy. Pasta was cooked really well as well.

We were looking for somewhere chilled, cosy, and not too crowded or chichi for a lazy Sunday brunch. Dropped by Kohi-Ya, and it was perfect! We spent a couple of hours there eating, drinking, reading, chatting and eating again. Staff were friendly and approachable. My partner was very happy with the coffee (he is a self-professed coffee nazi, and he had two cups!). I had the cold brew tea- citrusy and refreshing, just what I needed for the hot day. We had the burger, the squid ink orzo pasta and the avocado toast. We were impressed with everything from our first bite. Burger could do with a bit of added texture though. They are in the midst of developing their dessert menu, and we are excited about it as we had a sneak preview. We will be back to try it all .
