SANDOs is quite far from me do it was quite the hike to get there.
Ordered the tori karaage with chips.
The order did take awhile but the crowd was quite large so to be expected.
The sandwich was pretty good. The bread and chicken are both a bit crunchy and well cooked and seasoned. The chips are cooked to order with a very pleasant dipping sauce.
All in all, a very good place. Pity its so far from me 😔

I’m always shocked at just how heavy the bag is when I take away lunch from here because these sandwiches are HEAVY - not that I’m complaining.
My family likes to get different things so I feel like I’ve tried almost everything on the menu. The katsu is my favourite but I feel like it isn’t consistently tender and that’s why I’m docking one star.

Hefty sandwiches that were super delicious! Had the yuzu Yakitori 🐔 and tonkatsu 🐷and both were so good. Chicken one was more saucy and messy, pork katsu had nice texture and sauerkraut was tangy and complemented well.

Been living around the area for the past 10 years but never knew that Alexandra Technopark existed. 🫣 Glad Google Maps is here to help me navigate life. 🙏🏻 Tried menchi katsu and tonkatsu sandos, and both were superb! Meats were juicy and well marinated, buns were soft and fluffy and not the least bit dry! Took some time (15 min?) for our order to be ready but it was worth the wait. 🥹 The portion was big enough for 2 meals for me too (although I admittedly have a relatively small appetite). 😬

Food was good and reasonably priced. The pork katsu was a nice thick cut of meat but the yuzu yakitori was a little underwhelming in taste. Both sandwiches cost $10 each and were perfectly divided in half so were suitable for sharing. Matcha latte was full bodied but yet not too sweet ($4.50). Everything nett priced (no GST and service charge).
Very disappointed that everything were served in disposables even for dine-in. Our sandwiches were placed inside a bag even though our table was just a few steps from the kitchen. These papers are not less wasteful than plastics because they too cannot be recycled. Last but not least, the person handling food was wearing his mask under his chin and talking, all at the same time. With such attitude, it makes me wonder how serious they handle the pandemic and hygiene in general.

Pork Katsu Sando was sold out so I had the Menchi Katsu Sando and it was amazing! I’m Japanese and I thought it was so authentic that it had a layer of mashed potatoes. Very beefy menchi that feels like a burger and good quality cheese. I showed it to my Japanese colleague and he was impressed too. I will support this place FOREVER whenever I’m in the neighborhood! There was a bit of waiting time when I was there but the staff was gracious about it and I wasn’t disappointed.

Very delicious Teriyaki Chicken inside the Handmade sandwich buns; crispy outside and soft inside! Goes well with the glorious tea, Pearl of Orient; mix of Jasmine and Rose fragrance. Friendly and Helpful Staff! Relaxing ambience when dining in!
