Good tasty porridge and chinese dishes. Definitely try the porridge dish which is a generous serve (for two). Deep fried sea bass was crisp and deep fried tofu beancurd was the highlight. Ask them for less salt because they tend to be heavy handed. Side dishes that come at the beginning is not free, feel free to decline them if you don't want to pay extra. Water costs $0.50. Service is attentive. Will be back!

Decent food, the clay pots keep the food always sizzling warm. Except for that they always try to put the Fried fish skin ($3.8) and peanut ($2+) on the table without explaining whether it’s complimentary or not (on purpose - don’t fall for the trap), else is good.

I really enjoyed the salted egg prawns. The prawns were crunchy, and the salted egg sauce complemented it perfectly. You can even add some of the sauce to the porridge to give it an extra kick. The porridge were on 50% off, but I liked the dried scallop and fish maw porridge. It was delicious, though I wished there were more ingredients. They are also on eatigo, so you can get a discount on ala carte.

Services are fast and staff are friendly. There are lunch time promotions which are pretty value-for-money. Would be good if they can put Bak Kut Teh back on the menu.

Service was poor, drinks too sweet, and pricey. The vegetables were only served after we finished the porridge and noodles. How to eat the spinach alone?

Terrible. Ordered Takeaway porridge at 2035 received order only at 2125 took it back n consumed it at 2200 but the porridge is sour already n had to dispose of it. Suspect they did not cooked the porridge n scramble to find some leftovers as it was super watery n staff was super unfriendly n seemed grumpy 😡 as if she meant to say 'it is near to closing time n make me work'! No wonder they are closing tis branch at Star Vista with only 1 table service n me the other customer with such service n quality of food 😤😤😤

Food is acceptable. However, service is very bad. One of their servers lied about table being reserved. We asked to move to a table away from the hard blowing ceiling fan. This server said that the table had been booked. We assumed that it was booked by a larger group (the table is a combo of 2 smaller tables, which can fit 5 people). As we were finishing our meal, the same server gave the table to a group of 2 people (she separated the table into 2 smaller tables). So, she could have separated the table into 2 and gave one of them to us, no? Liar...liar...you'll lose your customers!!

Food was tasty and fairly priced (though there were quite a few rather over-priced options on the menu in my opinion, so you might wanna check first before ordering).
Service was rather leaning to the negative side. While the (I assume) manager of the place was accommodating and helpful, the waitress who served us seemed to rather hate her job and clearly showed it.
Also rather strange: food items (which are NOT complimentary) are placed on the table without saying whether they are for free or not. Rather leaves a bad impression, as if one were trying to trick you into eating it and then having to pay for it later. We didn't fall for it, but still ... It would be a better policy to just say up-front whether the snacks are for free or not. That way misunderstandings can be prevented.
