Just had a meal at Ka-Soh seafood Resturant and had an unpleasant experience with their billing system.
The menu pricing and actual prices doesn't tally at all. The price on the menu was seems totally like a fraud to us... When the bill came it shock the group of us... We ordered bigger sizes which wasn't told or stated on the menu.
And when asked abt why the menu doesn't tally with the prices, staff was questioning us abt whether we r first time here and asked us to do a comparison with outside Zi char restaurant to ask ourselves if the price is reasonable.
And at the back of my mind, I questioned why do u have a menu in the first place... Some dishes have small/medium/big prices and some don't... How do we know which is big and which is small...
I really felt ethically challenged when they questioned abt my ignorant of the price and whether I am first time here

I been there last night.... Seriously this eatery has banking past glorious history with those 80- 90 poster on their wall. Food taste is below part. Fish meat noodles soup is bland, San Lo hor fun is has no taste. Both are just giving big portion without quality. There's many zi char stall can cook up the same dish with better taste and higher level. Secondly those auntie servers are rude and pushy. If customer are charged for this prices, I expect food to be good or at least a notch above most zi char.. But the quality just isn't good. Servers need to be taught with better mannerism.

Grew up eating at Ka Soh. Thick and tasty fish broth. Their fish noodle soup is still the best in Singapore!
