Just collected a cake ordered online through the main website. I understand if the cake came from HQ kitchen instead of the outlet but how the staff - a senior lady in particular, handled the situation today was downright disgusting.
The cake had a visible crack across the lettering, which also happens to be the cake recipient’s name. I pointed it out, and Staff came out declaring “all the cakes are like that one” repeatedly in a raised volume. I refuted this by pointing out the same cake at the counter, (which was still round and unsliced) that it looks smooth and uncracked.
She did not acknowledge my protest and continued saying the same words loudly. I decided not to pursue further as the whole restaurant was watching this debacle, and the more people were entering the place.
When my family opened the cake box, they also questioned on the appearance of the cake. Even if it had been baked elsewhere, and the outlet kitchen staff did not have the capacity to rectify this, the staff here should have handled the situation more sensitively instead of strong-arming me into accepting what was below my expectations.
What was supposed to be a happy occasion made me feel humiliated and bullied. Please don’t bother with a template apology if you won’t be doing anything about this.

Visited the store last week (wk of august 2). Still in the midst of heightened alert in Singapore. Hence no dine-in. Whilst deciding on my cake to purchase, another customer entered the store to place order for food. When I was done, I proceeded to the cashier and, waited. At least 2 cooks in the kitchen.. while another 2 staff fussed over packing food. Stood at the cashier for quite a bit till, someone finally decided to entertain me. Thankfully I was in no hurry.
Decided to try the opera crumble cake. S$8.80 per slice.
Honestly, unless you have extra calories to waste or, you don’t find the price too high or, you are a chocoholic…. Go for another cake choice.
The chocolate was too rich and the entire cake was simply too sweet. Imagine eating maybe 3 Mars bars stacked up together. Definitely not to my liking. I was about to give up and dump the cake after 2 mouthfuls. Finished it only not to, waste.

Saw "Burmese shan tofu" in the menu & happily ordered. Turned out it was such a disappointment, totally unable to eat at all even as a Myanmar national. Literally a disgrace to burmese food. It is actually bean curd dressing in western style sauce, not even tofu.

I came here for their signature carrot cake , but since its lunch time , decided to order the nake beef salad . The beef is so Juicy and soft . And it just bing comfort to my soul . I don’t know why their store rating is so low . But the staffs is so friendly and heartwarming . I keep hearing say thank you to the customers thru out my dining .
I’m just so glad I still go ahead to try the food here

The shop is located in the corner of level 2 open space area. I only ever bought the bread to go from this store. The bread is nice but a little bit pricey though.

Ordered the black pepper crab and prawn pasta ($22). Prawns were really unfresh, mushy and falling apart - refer to pic. Disappointed as I've always liked the food at Cedele.

Their hearty breakfast never fails at anytime of the day. Grilled seabass is well grilled and the curry sauce matches the fish. Their ginger tea and cauliflower soup is a must try! A lot of healthy option meals are available. Free flow of sourdough bread available. Avoid lunch hours as the kitchen becomes very busy so the service lags.

Nice vibe I suppose! But don’t get the overpriced mushroom soup, that was pretty disappointing, felt like it was from a can.
Spaghetti was cooked nicely, but tastes like off the shelf sauce.
The saving grace was the Quinoa Mushroom Rice dish. Tasty!
