My regular prata fix in the weekend for breakfast, the plain prata is good but I’ve had better, my definition of better means fluffier, oilier :), but the cheese prata (the bigger prata in the photo) is one of the best, full of cheese and very tasty! Price is good too, a usual breakfast for 2 is around $15 with tea/coffee, prata and a mutton/chicken dish.

They take pride in their food and I appreciate that the prata is made fresh and deliver hot, including the curry. I also like that casurina is always consistent across the outlets so we can get reliable prata fix. Good effort on the attentive and efficient service too!

Decent prata, but only 1 saucer of curry provided for 3 people to share. Witnessed the manager being really fierce towards some customers, so it affected my dining experience there. However, I did see him treating other customers well, so it might have been some fault on the customer's part. Recommend to visit when it's not crowded as it feels really cramped in there.

EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTING food and service. The first time I ordered Masala Thosai and other food for take away, the were no Daal and chutney for the Thosai. When I asked the staff, he said all finished already, he didn't even bother informing me, but who eats Thosai without Sambhar/Daal/Chutney?
My second visit was even WORSE! Ordered a butter chicken and I got a pathetic little packet of Water Chicken! At the Upper Thompson branch the packet is full of a thick gravy Butter Chicken and fills my bowl up. Look at what I got this time. Definitely never coming back and going to share this experience with the rest of my colleagues.

Good offerings on the menu, reasonably priced, however the place is always out of something basic like paper napkins. Could be a local norm, but still should have if customer requests for it. Staff is friendly and courteous but they do not dress clean or professionally. Again, could be a local norm, but does not come across nice.

Extremely poor experience on a Sunday evening.
The staff started cleaning up at around 8pm. An hour before the stated closing time of 9pm. While eating, the smell of detergent just completely clouded the restaurant. To add insult to injury, the water from the kitchen hose was accidentally splashed on to my
face. My party of 3 felt extremely unwelcomed and we left a half eaten fish head curry to go on our way.
I don’t blame the staff, I blame the management for not installing a competent supervisor to oversee operations.
Given the abundance of Indian restaurants in the vicinity, we certainly will not be coming back to this branch ever again.
For such a household name, Casuarina Curry has seriously failed to live up to its name.
P.S. You should also reupholster the seats. It’s disgusting.

I've been here 2 times before and stopped going because I wasn't happy with the taste of the food. But I decided to go this time to support because a few times I passed by it wasn't well patronized. But surprisingly this time it is crowded and full of students from neighboring schools. Well done! Still, I found the Bryani only passable. And, it doesn't come with side vegetables like other places.
