Men in Black 2
Not bad. Been visiting on and off since years ago. Lately covid so haven’t been here for ages. It’s been renovated I guess.
The prata cheese and pears pineapple with cheese is pretty nice. Curry was alright. The plain prata was a bit thick and not too fluffy or crispy.
The ordering system also requires that you remember you table number walk up to the machine then type in your table no after which you get a chit which you then scan to pay either cash or nets. Mind boggling right??? 🫤 😂
I ended up paying for another table wrongly though and I walked off. The server ran after me and checked my receipt but he found that I overpaid. 😖
I didn’t get my refund 😂
I said ok lah no need but in my heart it was all so confusing!!!
Just be aware lah if you come here. 😂
The bandung was alright and so was the lychee iced. 😃

Your reliable after sports dining option (after playing sports in MOE evans facility). It opens till late night (past midnight)
Serves both Indian and western delight. I ordered the masala thosai which is very good in my opinion. The naan is good but a bit too thin to my liking. Chicken tikka masala is a bit too sweet but the taste is still nice.
Wide selection of snacks available as well.

Old school setting…quite similar to Malaysian type of eatery… menu is extensive ! So extensive that I decided to just ask for the items verbally, the wait staff knows her menu well, will point it out to let u confirm the item and explain whether it’s meat only or it’s meat with bones.
Mutton Mysore $5.50 for a small portion, taste is v Indian ! Hahaha 🤣 It is Indian to start with.
Ordered for white Beehoon cos Red ones feels scary when eaten too often. Value wise, one whole mountain of it but with quite little eat and veggie compared to Zamas @ River Valley.
Ordered Egg Prata, gravy wise, I still prefer Mr Teh Tarik’s daal curry.
Hot Lime is sweeter than Cold Lime, I prefer Hot Lime, it’s less sour.

Location is quite secluded and no parking available nearby. Though some of the servers have some kind of weird attitude.
But great ambience. Near botanic gardens. Food was freshly served and the drink was not too sweet.
Best lamb shank with awesome briyani at reasonable price.

Nasty experience. Felt cheated as the price displayed on the way differed from the bill. The staff told me the food prices displayed were outdated. This is an unacceptable explanation. The staff quickly remove the food posters after I have taken photos of it as I intend to report this to the relevant party. The Chinese lady who took the orders was extremely rude too. The other Indian lady was pleasant and polite.

A great supper place in Bukit Timah. The pratas were crispy and delicious. The chip chop prata had lots of meat. Drinks were affordable. Only gripe is that it's a little out of the way.

Even though the restaurant was half full, and our orders were taken on a mobile device, our food took forever to arrive. Service was abysmal. I understand the prata would take time to make, but our drinks also took a long time. (and the coffee tasted suspiciously like 3 in 1 rather than freshly brewed kopi.
I guess there were many online orders - but the quality of the prata isn't worth the wait. The neighbourhood coffee shop prata would have tasted just as good.
Quite disappointing.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. Anyway, my friend and I dined in at Mr Prata yesterday for lunch. We ordered nasi goreng merah, mutton chop, ice milo and a few pratas.
Long story short, the nasi goreng was extremely horrible. It was basically rice tossed with colour, MSG and barely any ingredients. It tasted like plain rice that was lightly salted. Look at the image and see for yourself. I even told the staff about this but they took no action.
The pratas were downright cold and soggy. When I highlighted this to the staff, he simply told me its normal for it to be cold as its lunch hour. My friend asked for sugar for his prata and was served ants with it. How absurd can one be?
Moreover, I could barely savour the curry as it was covered in a thick layer of disgusting oil. Please note that real Indian food is nothing like this!!
Like what another review mentioned, this place is a disgrace to Indian food for its unauthentic and very unhealthy. Its no wonder there were barely any local Indians there.
To wrap it up, please avoid this place at all cost!
