I was near that area around 6.30am and went to buy noodle with egg and luncheon meat. At the same time ordered the kaya toast bread and hot coffee take away. I like the chilli inside the noodle, as it is taste nice and special as compared with others. As for the bread, i find it normal and not crispy enough may be due to take away. The coffee is above average. Still a nice place to go if you drive and you can park along the road side.

To experience what it feels like to have breakfast at a coffee shop of yesteryear, look no further. I go there whenever I want that familiar food to comfort my soul. The coffee, toast, half boiled egg are so good even on their own. The bee hoon is just right - that is not dry and not too moist. And not forgetting the “一盘一碟“ stall (the stall is named Plate & Plate, but to me it is more of plate by plate as they prepare the food on the spot plate by plate) offering nasi lemak and mee siam. Authentically local flavours that makes the morning just brighter.

Old school kopitiam with good range of breakfast choices. WTM, mee siam, nasi lemak and mee hoon. Had the coffee and toast set for only $3.50. Good value for money and toast is nice with quality butter and kaya. Service is fast and efficient and place is clean and airy. Coffee could be more robust but maybe individual taste differs. Parking is also relatively easy with ample lots after you Turn Right” into the lane next to kopitiam. Will certainly be back to try the other offerings.

Best all round breakfast and lunch. And they open till 11pm for toast and kopi! Can you beat that? Breakfast bihun and noodles are yummy. Sambal is unique too.

Wanted to try the economical bee Hoon but seem not available for lunch. So end up with wanton mee which is not bad though I prefer the malaysia style. Otherwise I think it’s really quite nice if you like Eng wtm style. Coffee also not bad. Got the old school taste. Can try both if in area.

Hidden gem! One of the best local breakfasts in SG - their soft cooked eggs and kaya butter toast were good, their economic fried beehoon was good. We’re definitely coming back here!

Came here for breakfast around about 9am. There was already some crowd but we managed to find a free table. We ordered the mee siam, wantan mee, kopi C, teh C kosong and kaya butter toast. All are reasonable - maybe the chilli sauce in the wantan mee was a tad unwelcome but it is quite common in Singapore. The mee siam came with sunny side up egg that she will cook as you order- which put a smile on my face even as I write this; this was unexpected and of the welcome kind. Not sure if this is standard fare but u all should try it haha. Paid parking is along the road side and is aplenty. Will come again.
