Quality of food is decent and cheap, with your standard hawker fare such as Mee Goreng, Salted Fish Fried Rice and Hor Fun available. Standard hawker drinks are available too such as lime juice and local coffee. However, service is really slow during weekday lunch hours as they are really short handed; be prepared to wait around 30 minutes for your food. Ventilation of the place could be better as well.

Decent food for a simple lunch. Importantly, there is now an additional 50¢ charge, with the notice being displayed at the counter only (menu is not updated). As earlier reviewers have mentioned, there's also a long wait during busy lunch periods.
The Xin Xin's Special Chicken with Rice is decent (introduced to me as Thai-style curry chicken), coming across as lightly spicy and sweet. Note that I requested for less spicy. Dining partner who ordered Curry Chicken says the curry is spicy.
JB Maggi Goreng is a little savoury for my liking, but otherwise still acceptable.
There are square tables outside for those who do not wish to cram into the shop.
All in all, suitable for those who are just looking for food to fill an empty stomach.

Great little cafe serving local food.
Food is always tasty. Had a few of their dishes on the menu and every one of them have been great!
Give this place a try the next time you're in the area. It's a little hidden, but once you find it, you'll always want to come back!

Quality dropped post pandemic, JB Maggi goreng used to be good, now it's super oily and noodles not evenly cooked..

Xinxin special chicken rice is just okay. Would prefer the chicken to be slightly more cooked (meat close to the bone still a bit reddish). This food already served cool. Salted fish fried rice is good and very warm. Service is very slow during lunch time on a weekday. Waited 30-35 minutes for the 2 orders to arrive. Hope this can be improved.

We had a lovely Christmas Eve dinner, packed with much food magic. The dessert was to die for. And the best thing is that it's available on the regular menu too.

Had the salty fish fried rice and coffee. The salty fish was too salty but tasty. The coffee is good and strong.

Service was ok! The toast was quite decent and I think the other food available e.g. chicken curry, are also neat, although I have yet to try it. Drinks are fairly reasonable. My gripes are that the power sockets readily placed around do not supply power at all, and that I had to pay to water (seriously?!)... Apple Pay or other contactless payments are also not accepted here.
