Review Godiva - Singapore

Azizan Azhar
We were walking around Suntec City and chanced upon Godiva. Heard many good things about their soft serve ice cream, so we took a stab at it. We definitely weren’t disappointed! Ice cream was decadent, we ordered a mix of chocolate and vanilla so as to have a nice balance, not too rich and yet not too sweet. Will have it again the next time we’re there (or when we pass by another outlet)! ^^

Ordered the dark chocolate cone. Flavour was really rich but at a price tag of $9.50, it really is too much for what it is worth..

I'm a member and will always stop by for some ice cream or milkshake whenever I pass by a Godiva outlet. Usually would patronize the outlet at Taka or Raffles City; service being no issue at both outlets. Haven't been at the Suntec outlet for a while but was there recently, and the attitude of the elderly lady, who was probably the supervisor, was off-putting. The younger staff there mostly needed to check with the elderly lady on any questions as she seemed unsure of most things. The elderly lady was curt and looked terribly unhappy with her job, showing her displeasure to customers in the way she handled the cashier counter and with any interaction. Seriously, Godiva, I think being a premium brand for chocolates, you can do better hiring staff with better attitude and customer service. I made 4 purchases today but left the outlet feeling displeased and with a bitter taste in the mouth, even though I liked the shakes and ice-cream. Management has to look into this, as it seems like I'm not the first customer to complain either. At this rate, you'll just not have members like me visiting the Suntec outlet. Period.

I have had dark chocolate soft serve from Godiva’s branch in Jurong east a few years ago. I remember that it was so rich that I could not finish it. Today, I had the twist (chocolate and vanilla) soft serve from the suntec branch. It did not have the decadent creamy texture which Godiva ice creams are touted for. McDonald’s soft serve was better when compared to this.

Awesome double choc soft serve 🤤🤤🤤 Absolutely love Godiva chocolate , it’s not overly sweet but has a great, intense chocolate flavour in all their items!

When asked if we can eat in shop, the shop assistant replied to eat outside the shop. Unlikely to come back this branch.

Was there yesterday afternoon to redeem a voucher. Was told that item has been out of stock at this outlet for quite some time and was unwilling to check if other outlets has stocks even though we were the only customers in the shop. The manner in which the replies were given was most unprofessional. “You can try calling them yourself as they (the outlets) will not answer my call as they are busy. You can come back (here) next week to check if stocks are available”

Known as the world's finest chocolatier, walking into the Godiva store feels like a vacation to heaven for chocolate lovers. A really wide selection of indulgent gourmet chocolates, truffles, tablets, bars, holiday gifts and many more. They even have ice creams and chocolate soft serves which you do not want to miss out on!
