I was here on a Thursday night with my girl friends for wine. We had a great time there. As it's a weekday evening, the place was quite empty. The live band sang a song that my friend requested.

The best thing about the restaurant was the lively atmosphere or the music. The staff were distant. Not grumpy, but not friendly either. Maybe because it was too crowded? The loaded nachos were really loaded and a good quantity, but the bolognese was below average. It looks like the same beef was used in the bolognese as the one in the nachos. And it felt sweet, so I had to add a lot of pepper and chili flakes. The location of the restaurant is excellent though. I will be back though as perhaps I may have picked a wrong dish. It's worth a second shot for sure.

Location is good, though the signage is abit small, so might be difficult to see which bar it is. Service is good, place wasn't that packed on a Wednesday night, but they didn't allow us on some of the normal (not the high chairs and tables sort) of tables as it was reserved (wasn't occupied the entire time we were there 7-10+pm), so that was a little strange. The pork knuckle I had was huge, and I barely managed to finish it with the help of my friend. It's delicious, the skin was crispy, but the fat just below was flavourful. Music was a little loud at the place, the live band was decent, though not all of them should sing. Otherwise, it's pretty good. About $40 for the pork knuckle after all the charges in, and happy hour wine was separate.

The music is cool. Food is average. Roasted chicken leg was a disappointment. Small, oily and poor presentation for the price.

Live 80s and 90s music! We chanced upon this place after a gathering. Glad to find a live band playing music we love and used to groove to. The place is cosy and it’s great to see all kinds of people here; young adults, middle aged men and women (even tourists) and silver generation folks. Great place if you’re into 80s and 90s.

Nice 80s music love this place. Bar tender must make sure good beer from tap is served cause i received beer believed to be collect from dripping tap. But as i was not drunk and was alert got it change.

Super duper lousy service. The gave my friend a drink in a glass which is leaking fast. This is a safety hazard! But instead of changing the glass fast, they took their own sweet time until half of the drink had leak without even bother to apologize. And when they eventually change the glass, they insist that it is the same drink which obviously is a different drink that my friend had ordered. No apologies and their drag queen just waved us off! I regret ever recommending my friends to this bar!!

I had some expectations heading into the restaurant yesterday since it did receive 4.4 rating on Facebook. However, this quickly changed within the first 15 minutes. I felt completely bombarded by a waiter consistently asking us if we were ready to order, when in fact, our orders had been placed. Upon receiving our food, we noticed a piece of hair on the pork chop. We requested a change, which the restaurant obliged, but there shouldn't have been the need to ask for a change in the first place. Also, I had to request for a change in my cup as the cup was dirty. Our dessert was served together with our mains (the waiter who took our order did not check if we wanted our desserts during or after our mains). We requested for it to be only served after our mains, but yet there seemed to be some confusion, and the dessert was brought back to our table. Eventually, when we got our dessert, it was disappointing to see the ice-cream had melted. Perhaps it was an "art" piece for my viewing. The food was mediocre, but what really got me was the service and the combination of all the mishaps. If I had to pick a shining moment, it had to be that the DJ (or staff member in the booth) was quick and prompt to respond to us trying to get someone's attention. We requested for ice water, and it was what we got.

Had dinner on 13/4/2017, Good Friday eve. The staff was very polite and friendly. The live performance was great! It was the food that disappointed us. The calamari taste weird, the duck was hard and dry, most of the food taste very plain. It was my birthday and I got a surprise Molten Lava Chocolate Cake from them. Our overall experience in the bar is good! It will be great if they can make improvements on the food.

I went to Berlin Bar & Restaurant and the staff here were very polite and efficient! They took the orders swiftly and also let us know they have a happy hour. I feel it is worth it and the live performance was very good. The food tasted good too. Not. The best best but it is decent. Oysters a bit small n miserable so better order other dishes. The rest of the dishes are quite valued for money and tasty as well.

Best 'live' music & Dj and accompanied with good food & beverage. Not forgetting well trained staff who made the whole place complete. Kudoos to THE BERLIN managment for putting it all in place. It was really amazing and fun, Sure looking foward to be back!! Keep it up

Was there on the 7/7 at 1900hrs, was asking if there was space and as I know it’s the World Cup it would be pack. The so called MANAGER of the day, replied NO NO NO space just go . Is this what how you treat customers ? Get your manager to wake up his damn idea.

"Best" service ever, ask if they have or can do a caipirinha and the server said yes.... Then proceed to open and show me the page of cocktails and said, LOOK (while scrolling his fingers along the line of cocktails) mind you, they don't have in the list. Awesome. I feel like a 5 yr old caught in an adult shop. Thanks. Bartender was an angel though (after the server dissed my friend) and tried to make one for my friend. Attitude is all it takes to make and break your brand. Good luck.

We had dinner, 3 cocktails n dessert and in between we asked for 3 cups of water while we were still having our dessert. When we asked for 1 more glass of water, the waitress said she could not serve us with water anymore. We asked why and she say my Manager do not allow it. What is this? Why are we not allowed to have more water? We have never experienced anything so humiliating! Everyone else is asking for water continuously and ordered a drink and stayed the whole night. How can the management deprived your customer of water? I don't think 3 glasses of water is a lot to ask for. If there is a restriction to how many glasses of water a customer is entitled to, then put up a sign. Or if we need to pay for water, then say so. Dont tell us that my manager don't allow it! Who the fuck is your manager!

Literally the best oysters in Singapore! $20 for 6 is really great value, you'll pay almost double at MBS down the road! Not to mention that the taste was incomparable! Would also highly recommend the beef tenderloin (filet mignon) and the snickers cheesecake!

Great place for 80s music and live bands. Good service too. I decided to propose to my girlfriend there since I had my first date there and the staff went out of their way to make it special. Really have to thank Rahim for all the help.Great job guys! I have been here many times with friends and it has never disappointed. With the great friendly service it's always a great night out.

this is my fav place to hang out, prudent for 6 pax to share spirits bottles + free mixers instead of per glass. � Food: their Lamb Shank, must eat! Lov'n it, meat melts in mouth. � � Had an impromptu birthday party with close friends last Saturday night (after 10pm), we wondered why the place was uncharacteristically few folks... seems CHIJMES has lost a bit of its lure in the past year. But, started to be happening after 11pm... DJ mix really made me feel 22 again. Lurv the band: John Molina & Krueger �� I'm looking forward to book here for my 55th birthday party ��, next year...

The service is terrible. All except one lady, she is the hostess, she seems to be the only one listening. The rest of the staff either are not listening or cannot communicate. We placed our orders, and four different servers brought us our drinks. All four times were wrong . We finally gave up. It's a nice place cosy. But if the service continues this way. This place won't last.

Food sucks! Ordered pork belly (not crispy), calamari (rubbery), fries ("re-fried" hard and cold), risotto (tasteless).. i will not come here anymore for food!
