Review Isuramuya - Singapore

Isuramuya Japanese Restaurant is a spacious restaurant and serve a variety of Japanese food. It also has a good view of the ice skating ring at the side seats. I particularly enjoyed the ice in the ice water. The sushi was not as pretty as we expect but the taste is alright. Ice green tea is refillable.

The quality of food is surprising. Amazing food in Jcube L4 though the wait can be quite long after ordering.

Easy to locate, not crowded. Delicious Japanese food and very good service. I would recommend the salmon mentai and spider maki, and the yuzu drink and ice green tea. Didn’t have to wait long for the food to be served. The drinks were served without straws, as part of their efforts to save the environment. They even sell products that they use in the menu: miso soup, yuzu syrup, mayonaise etc. The only downside was that the wasabi wasn’t spicy enough (as in you would have to add A LOT of wasabi to be able to taste the spice). Would visit again.

Wonderful experience at break fast today. The service was greatly timed and the service was impeccable. Thank you to Angela and her team for coordinating with customers and ensuring that all the customers had something on their table during break fast time. Food was great too! Ramen noodles was tangy and Halal! Gyoza was a winner as most places don't serve Halal Gyoza..salmon don was delicious! And the salmon sashimi was quite fresh. Well done...👍

Fast service and the food never disappoints. It's a good halal Japanese outlet to consider going to, for those residing in the West. Prices are affordable and the menu is extensive with sashimi, ramen and side appetisers.

Had cravings for sushi & it was already in the evening so decided to look for somewhere nearby (in the west area) where we could grab some and ended up here! No doubt the ingredients are fresh, the curry rice was delicious!! Loved the sushi soo much. I liked the fact that you can purchase any japanese ingredients upon payment as well. Quite a variety of ingredients you can grab!

As we were about to enter, one of the staff asked us if we'd made a reservation and when we said no, she actually rolled her eyes in response - shocking! While the prices were generally reasonable, the food was appallingly bad. The sushi came with a pinch of rice (I'm not kidding), the miso soup was served lukewarm and the soba had a funny texture. Everything took pretty long to be served too. That being said, the salmon don and takoyaki were decent. Would definitely not return though.

Decided to try the restaurant after we read about it on HaveHalalWillTravel. Walked in at around 1.30pm on a weekday and we were about nearly the only customers there. Restaurant's on the same level as the cinema, overlooking the ice skating rink. The menu, which is available on their website to download for your reference, runs the usual gamut of familiar yet comforting choices, albeit with lesser choices than that of popular chain sushi restaurants. We ordered the Hana Maki, Spider Maki, Spicy Miso Ramen and a bowl of Shoyu Ramen.

20th December 2017 (WED) No crowd for an after-lunch meal (around 2:15pm) ... after cold skating at The Rink! We ordered a Curry Rice (D9), Miso Ramen (R4) and Shio Ramen (R5) ... all three were served piping hot. The sushi rice was soft ... much better than another HALAL-certified Japanese restaurant. A generous amount of wasabi paste was given too! We would definitely return more frequently if only they have a sushi belt in place.

For me this is the best place to have halal japanese food. The spicy ramen is especially delicious n the food portion is good (:

Isuramuya never fails to provide great service and great food. Halal Japanese at its best. This is why I'm a regular customer compliments to the staff (Angela and Wan) and the chef!

Extremely slow queue, queued for 2 hours despite having only afew customers infront of us. When we are finally settled in, orders was entered wrongly and we had to wait 1 hour for the rectified orders to be served. Food quality wise : Order R1E; Miso ramen with 4x chicken chasu. Overall taste is below average, for a Ramen in the 10-15 dollara bracket, this Ramen tasted like instant noodle. Stock was bland, chasu was falling apart and the noodles were overcooked. Overally, i am disappointed by this eatery and would strongly recommend against coming here.

Its been awhile since I have had Japanese food and it was in Hokaido. First time here and am glad because the tempura is great...the sushi is fresh and the udon soup with chicken slice is simply delicious. The food portion is just right. The staff was very helpful and friendly. One of them constantly check on us if the food is the right order...Im happy he did that...silly me did not asked for his name. We are happy the food is up to my expectation(Im a fussy eater). Thank you...I'll be back

Ive read bad reviews abt this restaurant. My first time eating here and tbvh, the experience is quite positive. Its not crowded. Worth the money, & the food is nice too! The chef even agrd to make special order for me since we dnt eat chicken charsu ramen(we chg to chicken teriyaki ramen). We dnt even hv to wait so long for the food. Maybe i would come back again for the food if I feel like eating japanese. Its just tht the menu need to chg bcs not everyone really understand jap tho. Other than that all good!

Went to this restaurant with my family and did not enjoy the food here, the sashimi we ordered (ika, salmon and hokkigai) were not fresh and tasted funny. The ramen was mediocre and tasted almost instant, the cha soba tasted very artificial as well and the dipping sauce for the soba was very diluted. Definitely not authentic japanese food considering the price i’m paying and i won’t be coming back.

Second trip here. 1st was a great lunch, came back couple of days later for a dinner. Unfortunately, while the food was great, the customer service isn’t. Table was cleared in a hurry, though permission was asked, just find a bit off from the Japanese culture of “to allow the customers to go off before clearing”.

The dining experience was better than expected, after reading all the long waiting time for the food. Food came pretty fast. Though some are hits (beef don, fried salmon, sashimi, miso soup, spicy ramen) while others not so (gyoza, chicken curry rice). Overall not that bad. Service was good too. Worth a try for jap food lovers !

Excellent dining view, excellent food, excellent service. Loved how they managed to squeeze our order in even when we arrived during their mealtime. Thank you so much! You have made some very hungry customers very happy.

Super delicious !! Highly recommended! Went there for the first time on the day of Halloween as a meal after a tiring day of ice skating ⛸. Chef was kind, although store lunch hours closest at 3pm sharp, at 2:49pm he still let us in even though we might leave at 3:30-4pm :) happy time there ! My Favourite food stall :)) This Chef might know me by this post I written , I am the person who eats Katsu Don everytime :)

Took my daughter there for lunch yesterday (9th February). It was her birthday. I am glad there is a Halal Japanese restaurant in that area now. We were promptly greeted at the entrance by the Malay Manager. A very friendly man. My daughter ordered the Ebi Udon soup. I had the Mini Teriyaki Don (small portion of rice with Teriyaki chicken). I loved that they served that mini portion as I am not a big eater. I love the rice and the chicken. However, my daughter was not so fortunate. Her noodle was a too saltish for our tastebud. We informed the manager and he said it was because of the miso. That was not our first time eating Japanese noodles and so we know when it is too salty. We hope that the chef will improve on this in the future. I would certainly returned because car park is convenient and the place is not overly crowded. The service was good too.

Food service was fast and very delicious! Potato salad is really good. Chawanmushi is not on menu but it is available!

Terrible food. Had the dry ramen and it was so salty that it was barely edible. Ordered unagi sushi, and that was just not edible at all. The eel was so rubbery that I could barely chew on it. When I told one of the staffs about the unagi sushi, he said "oh this isn't because of the Chef, it's probably because the fish is old" I'm sorry, but what? And isn't that also supposed to be the Chef's problem? Will be my first and last time - very disappointing. There are better Japanese restaurants out there.

Ordered Miso Ramen with Chicken Charsu. The worst Japan food I ever tried. Chicken tasted like steam chicken and bland! Green Tea ice cream was too sweet. DISAPPOINTED with the food here. No more second visit.

Awesome food with excellent services and reasonable price. Chef even interact with customers to get feedback of the food. Love their ramen soup and Gyoza
