Food is decent but price is a little steep. Tried Thai green curry grilled chicken, which tasted mild curry but has very good crispy chicken slices to accompany the spaghetti. Aglia Olio w/half spring chicken portion is large and worth the money. The spaghetti has strong garlic flavor. Food served within 15 mins from order during peak period. Service is good.

15/08/19 The fried rice with steak is rather unique. The rice tasted like typical glutinous rice. Unfortunately, lack of flavour. More of dark sauce flavour. The chilli sauce is unique as well. Seems like chilli sauce mixed with mayonnaise and garlic. Overall not bad. Great with young crowd. Most of them order the baked rice.

Being a vegetarian for 5 years, cheese baked rice is always my favorite and I brought almost all my overseas friends who visited Singapore to 18chef. Just tried the salted egg fries, not as good as what I expected. Still give 5 stars for other food and the fast n excellent service.

Cheap deal for students since it offers set meal at a reasonable price and on top of that you still get to enjoy a ice cream of the day! It's a better option than fast food IMO.

If you are a student and feeling budget, don't mind heading down to eighteen chefs for the student meal. It is very affordable. Other than that, the food is good as well. There is a spread of cheese generously on top of the baked rice. The meal comes with the ice cream flavour of the day and a cup of lemon tea. You may think the portion is small but it is actually very filling.

Eighteen Chefs is locally owned. Menu is great here. This is the Heart Attack Fried Rice. It has a one-of-a-kind taste, an almost charred, smoky, strong flavor. On the left side you've got flame broiled chicken, and on the right beef steak of your choice of rareness. An excellent dinner plate although conduciveness of eating environment could be better. Great experience!

Felt the restaurant is best suited (and to the point of skewing to bias) to students, seniors and NS folks because I ordered a 'create your own dish' meal and paid ard $20, a stark difference from a student meal with the similar dishes. The food quality is good to me though with the two cheeses, love the spicy tomato sauce which uses real chilli padis. Mushroom soup is nice too. Food arrived very quickly after ordering even when we have a group of 11 who ordered before us.

This common and popular location always does justice to its cheese baked rice and pasta sets. Although its food standard is not great or fancy, it does keep your stomach and wallet both happy.
