First time here. Stumbled upon this place while hunting for a place to eat. Service is good. Food was good too. My partner absolutely love the soft shell crab laksa and the coconut gula melaka shake. Finished both till not a drop left.
Also don't forget to order the otak otak. So cute and delicious. Service staff attentive and cheerful. Not robot like. Wonderful!

Tasted good but the portion is getting smaller and smaller. This dish used to have more rice but now it’s just less satisfying. Well, we usually feel full eating nasi lemak .., it’s is not true in this case. $21.50 and not full

Nice food (i had the maggi goreng with rendang chicken or something) and it was so good. The "high tea" platter was not worth it though. It was just fried chicken, pie tee, ngor hiang, chicken satay (4pcs each) and keropok. The watermelon mojito was refreshing (a bit sour for me). Service was great too.

Good local flavours with a nice ambience. Easy to get a table most of the time. The chendol is very nice.

Came to try the Signature Nasi Lemak as it was supposed to be very good. Visually, it was quite appealing when the plate arrived. Unfortunately, while I think the ingredients were separately pretty good, I don't think it came together well. The otah slice was nice but after a few bites, it felt a bit overpowering. The beef rendang was extremely tender but came across mushy and when paired with the otah, they were a killer, not in a good way. A perfect example of having TOO MUCH of a good thing. I actually felt a bit sick after the dish. Having said to that, I might consider coming back again to try the other dishes.

First time in this restaurant although was at the White House restaurant at Scotts road before. Pleasantly surprised. Casual Ambience and food was good too. Local delights with quality and quantity to match.

3stars for food and 2.5 stars for service. Good local food for quick meal. Reasonable prices. Recommended for grab n go. $$+

Very English feel but serve Asian favorites like Nasi Lemak, Laksa and Hainanese Chicken Rice.
I’m glad I didn’t read the reviews before I dined here, because I may not have dine here if I have read some of the reviews.
That said, we dined here because it was the only restaurant without a queue at 12:30pm and we decided to give it a try. But a queue started to form from 1pm onwards.
We ordered the Signature platter which consists of Kueh Pie Tee, Ngor Hiang, Satay and Chicken Wings; a seafood laksa, Teh C and Cendol.
The food are freshly made and have a traditional taste to it (古早味) plus the satay and chicken are juicy and fresh. But don’t expect it to be heavily marinated.
The Teh C is authentic Penang style with foam on top and is rather fragrant.
The Cendol was not what I was looking for, but I’m sure it might be a pleasant to someone else with a different taste bud from mine.
Reasonably priced as we are dining in Orchard. We can’t expect to pay hawker price when dining in town do we?
