I ordered Mala which is pretty good and at a good price. You basically pick whatever you wanted from the bowl. Beef tripe, cheese tofu and oyster mushroom are totally a gem! I should’ve ordered rice and more sauce. The staff is nice.

We tried the Mala ($13.90 for 2 people’s portion) and Rich braised beef flank noodles ($6) (all the noodles have a $0.50 price increment) and both were good!
Went around 9pm and the Mala, Noodles & Drinks stall was still open. It’s a small corner shop but seating areas inside and outside are sufficient. It’s located right opposite bugis junction (the entrance where josh’s grill / tip top are at).

Had the mapotofu rice from the mala stall and it surprised me alot. We were hungry so we just picked the only place without a queue on a Friday night but despite so the food was really good. Mapotofu was cooked well and seasoned nicely, goes really well with the rice. Served fast as well. Will be back again for sure to try the mala xiangguo.

Mala here is very nice. Delicious and you can request different spicy levels. We have tried mala from this place a number of times. Value for money and highly recommed.

Tried the Ayam oanggang set .. it’s a pity that the juicy chicken thigh.. is a tad tasteless . Dripping in sweet sauce . Hardly grilled cos I think I was the first customer of lunch . Rice was soggy not from curry , but wet clumpy rice . Sambal was tasteless. I watched his fireless grill with the chicken I knew I am in for a “waste my calories intake lunch” I shd have read other reviews first prior to ordering . Shd have gotten noodles on the right side of the stall. Definitely will not try again .

Dining experience here is very pleasant.
There are some indoor seats and roadside seats available on the ground floor for convenience. Those who prefer a more comfortable experience can use the dining area on the upper level.
Food offerings here are quite extensive. I was only here for the Mala, which I rated 4/5 stars.

Love the mala here! Very affordable and tasty. Item portions are huge so better to share. Colleagues and I shared the stir fried option, and I’ll be back to try the soup mala. Also great that there is air conditioned seating upstairs.
One star off because the mala was not really numbing spicy, just plain spicy (which I still like, but when I get mala I want the numbing peppercorn feeling!). Overall delicious though.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Mala at this place, plenty of ingredients at reasonable pricing. Would recommend the medium level of spice, since the less spice is quite underwhelming. Will definitely be back! The drinks store has quite the variety of beverages as well.
