Review Aloha Poke - Singapore

A good option for poke bowls! I would recommend the mentaiko salmon. Their menu has changed a while back, making everything very overpriced for its quantity and taste, and the fact that it isn’t a fully-serviced establishment. For reference, the bowls used to cost $12.90, including a scoop of poke, two toppings, and one premium topping; where it cost 50 cents extra for each topping and $1 for each premium topping. Now, the plain bowl with only a scoop of poke costs $10.90, and it is an extra of $1 and $1.50 for each regular and premium topping respectively. Ordering the avocado is not advisable as you get a really small portion that isn’t of fantastic quality. Nevertheless, I loved the addition of pineapples and lime! Overall, I would still recommend this place as it is one of the only places for decent poke in Singapore, and I hope the management could look into portion and price control.

Definitely one of the better Poke bowls in Singapore. Their portion is very hearty and we had a great time there, whenever we manage to eat in. I heard their standard has been inconsistent in other branches but so far, me and my colleagues have been pretty lucky.

Small but cosy place! Typically end up on high chairs and can a bit squeezy for 4 but still awesome good fish food!!! Taste is really good and we would still recommend Aloha when it comes to Poke bowls!

Nice place tucked away with quality food. Especially like the ultimate poke bowl with generous serving sizes. Staff are friendly and helpful!

Salad place, seats are limited during peak house if you wanna dine in. Good if you can check out their menu and decide what you wanna have beforehand. Vegetables fresh and green, vinegar alittle heavy for my liking but is a matter of preference. Staff was kind enough to tell me that the tuna was a darker shade than usual but is no difference to me as wasn't expecting super premium tuna to tell the diff.

Just think poke bowl as deconstructed sushi bowl, with whatever you want. The place is at Amoy St., which is probably one of the trendiest street to visit if you are in Singapore. The place itself is casual, packed to the brim during the weekdays, avoid lunch hour if you could. We ordered the two scoops, tuna and salmon in both spicy and chose the rest of the bowl ourselves. You could almost never go wrong with whatever you chose. It was DELICIOUS. It was ADDICTIVE. It's slightly on the pricier side. We paid $17 for each bowl. But with fresh and high quality ingredients, you are paying a good price.

The good: Food was fresh, well seasoned fish. The bad: overpriced, small portions. Would be good if they could throw in a variety of veggies into the salad.

Probably the best poke bowl you can get right here in Singapore, smack in the middle of Amoy St! The wasabi mayo salmon is a must-try and avocado topping is one of the best one you could have. Come on Saturday lunch to avoid the crowd!

Aloha poke was the very first poke shop opened and that’s where I got to try and taste my very first poke bowl. It was really delicious and it’s still to me, the best poke bowl I’ve tried since! Food is always fresh and never fails to disappoint! The staff are well trained for hygiene purposes, gloves and caps are always worn to protect the food and to keep it all clean. Always very impressed each time I go back to have my bowl. Aloha is for sure my go to place for my poke fix!

the poke is acceptable, possibly the best poke option in singapore. I'm here to address the loco moco. In an attempt to make this dish "sophisticated", Aloha has stripped away every endearing element in the original dish, and replaced it with a faux-bourgeois substitution. The original is simple--rice, hamburger patties, gravy, and egg. The frankenstein concoction served at Aloha includes braised beef cheek and some weird wine reduction, resulting in a dish that is far less than the sum of its parts. The beef cheek is meh, the wine reduction doesn't pair well at all with the rice and egg... Was this dish taste tested by anyone who has had a real loco moco? I refuse to believe anyone would sign off on this as a good idea. Please try your hand at serving this dish the way it would have been served on the island. Don't get me wrong, I am happy there is a dedicated poke spot in Singapore, but your ruining of one of my favorite dishes in the world has resulted in something SO mediocre it's awful, and is almost as if you have a prejudice against actual Hawaiian cuisine. Going back to my rating--I'd give the poke 3 stars (I tried the original tuna and salmon), the baked avocado 2 stars, and the loco moco a half star.

Don't be cheated by Aloha Poke. There has been a video circulating about their small portion, about 70grams SHORT. Please see for yourself on youtube by searching 'Investigating Aloha Poké Bowls'. I actually have written in to message Aloha Poke about their ridiculously small portion of salmon given to big bowls, and although my message was being 'read', no replies and no explanation were given (it has been 1 week). Very disappointed to find out that their portion of salmon is SO LITTLE, and this has been happening since 2017, can you believe how much salmon they have actually cheated their customers? Don't believe? Go and weigh your salmon out!

Been getting my poke fix there for the last three years and have never been disappointed. The fish is the freshest around and is always impeccably seasoned. Interesting toppings too like pomegranate and pineapple also lend a real “island” feel to each bowl. I love it and great job guys !!!

One of the most important factor for an F&B is to uphold its food standard. Aloha Poke has not only manage to maintain that freshness quality in all the various outlets but also constantly coming up with new dishes for poke lovers. I fell in love with the delicious bowl 3 years ago when it first opened and it is my only go to place for poke. Thank you for bringing it here! Great job to the team!

Heard about the rave and Visited the outlet at chevron house raffles on 10 nov at around 3pm, no queue. Food was decent but the cashier staff is very rude, I was asking whether the salad comes with dressing as its the first time I'm ordering it. But she ans me 'on what' repeatedly in a very harsh tone as if I owe her a million bucks when there wasn't any queue. Till the extent I have to reply her, 'I'm just asking only'. I can understand if there's a long q, but I'm only the customer on the line. Food was decent but the experience was horrible, definitely my last visit.

The poke is very good. They are also pretty consistent across their branches as well. The amoy street location can be fun after work as its a bit more of sit down place, and I've also tried their stalls at Chevron and Cityhall as well as all were good.

The food and drinks are so amazing! The poke tastes like you're eating at a healthier Food Land poke bowl in Hawaii. I highly recommend the big island ice tea and Mauna Loa drinks. My only complaint is that I can't eat it every day!

1st time trying Poke bowl and we went to Aloha Poke. The Poke bowl was fresh with lots of Poke. We also had sides like pork burrito, roasted pork belly and wings. The introduction of sides were made by Gaen, the branch manager of Amoy branch. The ambience was good, food were served in wooden utensils, drinks were good too. Very good service provided by Gaen and we loved the sides introduced by her. The other staff wasn't half as attentive as her.

Have tried this on 4 occasions and 100% of the time I’m appalled at the amount of seasoning put in.... doubtful of the freshness of the fish due to the amount of salt in the seasonings. Also now concerned about health due to the amount of salt I’ve taken...

Great stuff and really fresh food. Having local Hawaiian beers and relaxed casual environment reminds me of my times in Hawaii. Service also attentive and with a smile. Mahalo.

Went there for dinner, was abit disappointed that the customization selection wasn't available. However, was still happy that they had different choices of tuna and salmon for their Ultimate Poke Bowl. Service was pretty good and personalized. Their Ultimate Poke Bowl was amazing, filled with delicious seafood, mango, kale, lettuce, mixed rice and even avocado. Simply delicious. Will come back for their lunch hour Poke.

i've tried other types of poke but i keep coming back to aloha... the portions, the freshness and the flavour can't be beaten. Also, at such fair price!
