Very comfy place but very outdated taste / flavor. Ordered 3 signature dishes, all 3 have proper ingredients, but all 3 are very bland / tasteless. Steak was the "best". Paid $80. $$$ price tag. Definitely cannot justify the price.

A nice quiet place on a Saturday. 2 sets, one ala carte cost 3 of us about $56 (As a member, I got a 10%disc) . That would have translated to about $19 each. Not bad at all for 3 mains, 3 teas, 2 soups and 2 cakes. The mains were well cooked. Will certainly come back again.

Food standard was lousy, garlic bread and spagatti was very blend and the lamp rack and steak was cooked to well done when we requested for medium rare... Service staff was blur in order taking but was friendly and reply to our queries. Buck up Jack place this used to be my one of my favourite lunch place 20 years ago.

Service and food were great. The only minor blip was that the soup was rather tasteless. Loved the ambience even though it is dated.

Best outlet thus far I visited, the waitress is so friendly and we chat with her, knowing that she’s already retire but still wishes to make herself occupied, her service is awesome. Pssss she wears Rolex to work 🤪 food as usual amazing, the ambiance is conducive for corporate lunch or dinner meeting. Price is unbelievable if go in weekday will be 50% off the selected main course !

Jack’ place, classic name in Singapore, have not tried for many years and having it on a weekend afternoon. Crowded but got seated shortly. Overall decent, decent food decent price decent portion but no so decent customer service. I seen a few of the service staff behaving the same way, the way without customer service. I even saw 2 staff having a disagreement when i was paying money at the counter.

Standard dropped significantly. I am a member with JP and used to frequent them. Was pretty upset to be served "going to turn bad" or perhaps stale dessert (Heaven & Earth cake?). It was hard, dry and the taste was just off.

Had lunch and ordered the value lunch set. The powdery lentil soup was accompanied with a peice of flavourful and toasted garlic bread. We ordered a side of curly fries and the surprise we got of additional ingredients of a bodily nature. ( strands of long hairs with batter). While we were offered a replacement of that order, we declined.

I was here on Saturday 14 Jul. It was 2ish pm and I was super hungry! I ordered the Good Ole grilled chicken dish. It was a tad dry at some parts but my main feedback is to commend a server (I think his name is Jackson). I was nursing my baby and had only my right hand free. I was desperately trying to cut the chicken fillet with a knife. I did it for a few minutes and wasn't progressing much; no one took notice (didn’t ask for help because I wasn’t that frustrated yet but breaking point was definitely approaching) until Jackson was about to start clearing the table in front of me. He did a double take and then came over to ask me whether I needed help in cutting the chicken into bite size pieces. I was famished and his assistance allowed me to eat my meal and feed my baby at the same time. He even offered to cut my baked potato but I declined. I cannot thank him enough for his keen observation and willingness to help! :)

I was at BPP branch today. The chicken was pink. Thankfully the service staff changed a new chicken for me. (But it was also pink). They asked if I would like to change to a cake or anything but I declined. But they are really highly service oriented and they changed to fish for me. Just a feedback to change the cooking prep method for the chicken? It was served twice and both times it was pink. I’ve attached the pic for reference.

Good food as usual! Excellent service from Benjamin AM. He is thoughtful for my Aunties move them to sit sofa seats and expedite my Christmas steak set as I ordered later. Oscar a new service staff with good learning attitude!

Yesterday we had dinner at Jack's Place Bras Basah Complex. most disappointed i had ever. We ordered Mixed Grill and Rib Eye as well as Erdinger Beer which was advertised as free with the order of Main Course ala carte between 5-8pm until 31 August. However Server asked us Tiger Beer White Or Black.? so i asked why we gotta choose Tiger .He reply as feedback are not good for Edinger . it has already discon and now only Tiger. Alright then so we just take tiger then. So when food are served . it found to be really chewy as all r over cook except chicken. So the issue came in when pay for bill the beer was charged. So i asked it shupport to be free right? they mention no it is already discon and not FOC. i am really disappointed where advertised in phamphlet which was given to us. Food 1* service 2* Cleaniness 1* (one glass is not clean properly) FYI Bill No 273936 Table no 2
