Good Sichuan restaurant - but go only if you can take the spiciness! The restaurant looks quite simple, good for friends/family gatherings or coworkers. More expensive than other similar restaurants few streets down the road in Chinatown, but still reasonable.
The hot pot is good although there was not much explanation on the ingredients and the top up ingredients. The sticks appetizers look good in photos but wasn't very tasty.

Good food and nice ambience. Sichuan dishes. Can ask them to adjust the spicy level. Especially love the stir fry cabbage and kungpao chicken

Good Sichuan food in a laid back yet classy setting. The fried prawns with tea leaves was very average but we absolutely loved the Grouper fish in chilli oil. Super spicy but bursting with flavor. Especially enjoyed the Black Fungus and Celtuce slices in this dish. Gave it a lot of depth of flavor. And yes.. Celtuce (Celery + Lettuce) is an actual vegetable. I looked it up!

Good Sichuan food, in a more modern decor. Food is good, but I do prefer the atmosphere and food in their original restaurant (siwei maocai) in Mosque street. Some vegetarian options on the money. Try the mapotofu & the king oyster mushrooms

Very good Sichuan Food at reasonable price.

Simple decor that scores with its unpretentious fare. 辣子鸡 was not tough even after the frying and the preanuts added an extra dimension of texture. One of the better ones around!

good food, reasonable price for the area. Not really authentic Sichuan food but still tastes good and spicy

Very lousy service. We went for their dinner buffet. We order a steam fish as we thought it is included in their buffet list. The waitress took our order without letting us know it is not included in the buffet. At the end when we get out bill, we need to pay $88++ extra for one small grouper. The total bill is over 200. We were very disappointed with Si Wei Yan. Will never come back again.

Very tasty Sichuan food enjoyed by the entire family. Fish, beans and egg plant was outstanding. Will recommend both vegetarian and non-vegetarian

Modern yet authentic Szechuan restaurant, the spice from chili and Szechuan pepper are in perfect ratio but differs in every dish!

Si Wei Yan is definitely a restaurant that I will visit again. Si Wei Yan brought us lovely dining experience with great service, elegant dining environment and most importantly, delicious SiChuan Cuisine that you may never forget.<3 really love 牛舌 beef tongue there, must try!

Will definitely come back with friends. Thinking of authentic Si Chuan cuisine in Singapore? Look no further!
