It has a gym with the full facilities, Hair dressers, Tuition centres. Multiple Eateries and good ones at that. Only thing is now the Roadworks on Thomson Road are very disruptive. Best to try once everything is settled.

Row of shophouses that mainly houses restaurants. The pancake shop at the end of the row ~ Kyushu Pancake Cafe ~ is lovely and their butter milk pancakes are a great treat. Nice place to chill, but watch out for the 90mins seating policy.

Apartments above with a row of eateries at its frontage. Convenient location for access to town (Orchard Road) and it’s quite on the fringe - Thompson! Across the road to Novena Church(Catholic). Easy access to food with Velocity n Novena Square across the road apart from the eateries at its own location. There’s a pub, famous chicken rice, 2 other pseudo Italian deli type restaurants n Japanese Pancakes! Shopping mall inside appears to be quiet n not too well patronised.

The retail component is largely dead as less than half the units are occupied. Can't say much about the residences as only been up there once for a brief visit.

Simple but nice apt, with a serious swimming pool facility. Its location is only streps to bus and MRT. I visited a friend who stays there. The only effort for those who come for the first time is to find an access to the apt. There is a small entrance (without any sign) that will bring you to apt upstairs.

I ordered only their sample platter ($15) as it was being featured at the entrance that this was a promotional item. Receipt stated food was ordered at 12.01pm. At 1245pm, the food has yet to arrive. Saw a table that arrived only 15mins ago being served their order already. After checking with the staff, the sample platter requires more time to prepare than other dishes. This is simply ridiculous and was told mine is already being prepared.
Thinking that I had cab all the way down, and already waited for 45mins to try their pancakes, I decided to continue to wait. The food did not arrive until 1.04pm. 1hour of waiting just for a platter of pancake, French toast and waffle. Simply disappointed by the service. Avoid ordering the sample platter at all cost.. Provided you don't mind waiting for an hour.

The only person who knew what he/she were doing in this restaurant was in the kitchen. Good food, good crowd, the place was almost full. A tad expensive but satisfying :)
Some pointers where they can be better:
Cashier lady should smile a little and be a bit cheerier. We are eating at your cafe, not at your house good woman :)
Waiter of about 30 years old was enthusiastic but had a thumb in everything, in the food, on the side of the glass and on my straw where my mouth goes......Eeeeeesh.
I got thrown out after an hour because the they needed the table for another group which reserved. I would have felt better if the server of about 50 years old told me "you only have this table for an hour" before we sat down at the start. My fault for staying a tad too long but after spending about 70bucks for lunch for two adults I felt a little cheesed off.
Perhaps this is a new restaurant? And everyone is learning the ropes as they go along? It looks like a family run setup? Hope they learn quick and improve otherwise it's a real waste the chef in the kitchen is let down by the rest of the team.
Oh and it would be good if you offered water to your guests too. Almost there :) The ambience and food feels and taste like a cafe in Japan but the overall service level needs to be better.

Strangely for a Pancake cafe, the pancakes wasn't really good. It was too dense and not fluffy enough. We preferred the waffles and French toast. My favourite dish was the Fried Chicken with waffles.
I deducted 2 stars because the food took too long to arrive. The cashier told us the Sampler Platter will take around 30mins to be ready and we were willing to wait. We ordered at 11.20am and the first Pancake dish was served at 12.00pm, the remaining main courses including the sampler platter only came after 12.20pm! I'm perplexed why they need an hour to cook a simple dish of waffles and pancakes.
It's a pity because the long wait time is hurting their business. Instead of a faster turnover, they have lesser opportunity to accommodate more customers cos majority of the time is spent waiting for food. While waiting for our food, we saw impatient people hurrying the poor wait staff. People queuing outside also left cos they waited too long for a table. We wouldn't go back again because 1hr is just too long..it's not fine dining!
Something needs to be done about the kitchen. Hire more staff, train them to work faster or something.. If not this cafe won't last for long.

Toast was good though we thought they were very stingy with white wine honey. It was only 2cm of it in the tiny glass. No refills allowed. For the price we paid, at least a more decent amount should have given for it to be sufficient for the 6 pcs of toast.

Cafe pricing, food presentation is decent. However, the wait is rather long. Due to the ingredients used, you might be somewhat surprised by the texture and fragrance of it. However, what it suffers from is the ingredients used. If you are going to Japan, go for a visit at their local chain, because I am pretty sure the ingredients are not imported from Japan (most of it).
FYI: I ordered berrylicious. The berries tasted distinctly different from what I've tasted in Japan (Nara/Kyushu) region. Well, it's to keep costs down, that much I can understand.......
Would be great if they also offered the weekly lunch deals/drink set like their japanese counterparts in Japan.

三種的綜合的鬆餅，還有加上白酒蜂蜜的雞排的鬆餅，開幕一個多星期，已經來三次了，我們都好喜歡，每口鬆餅都充滿著好天然很細緻的米香，每次去人都滿滿的，雖然需要等一下下，但超值得！！香蕉巧克力跟綜合莓口味的鬆餅也很不錯喔！！超推！！！

We visited on a weekday for dinner. Waited 45mins for the food and we discovered it was due to the kitchen only able to cook two of the same dish per time. A table who came later than us got served food earlier based on this. I am baffled why even truffle fries need a 30mins wait.
Food taste ok for us but not fantastic enough for the distance to travel down and for the long wait.
