Dined-in 3pax. The Ambeng Platter is a must to try. The taste and quantity is just right. Worth the amount paid. The Grilled Seabass can improve on the grilling process, but enjoyed it still. What warms my heart, is their customer service. We had elderly and their toilet is 2nd floor, managed to help guide to another accessible toilet. 👍 . . . Of course there's room for improvement but overall 4.5/5 ...

I was here last week on the 26th November 2021. My friends and I were just ordering the pisang goreng with sambal kicap, Pisang goreng chocolate and baklava. What so special about the pisang goreng or in english they call it Fried Banana is that, the banana is coated with a butter that deep fried and turn out to be crispy and banana tasted so soft. The Fried Banana Chocolate can be shared for 2 to 3 pax. The Baklava is nice with the overloaded pistachios.. Last the coconut drink.. is totally the bomb! 💣

Nasi ambeng is nice - especially beef Rendang and sotong and bergedil. But the sea bass is dry, skin is rubbery and not so good.

Ordered delivery and food was well packed and delivered. Good presentation. Most importantly the taste the taste and freshness of the food was great and portion of food for up to 5 pax of Nasi Ambeng was definitely reasonable. Will order again!

Had our iftar there on a weekend. Reservations made few days earlier and was asked to preorder our food. Ordered their much talked abt ambeng platter (and an extra plate of rice) and a pizza for my girl. The food was ok (tasted better elsewhere) but portion-wise needs improvement. There were only bits of chicken pieces in the lemak gravy (would've expected at least a chicken part?) Had to ask 3 times for the extra rice. Finished our food but the pizza has yet to arrive (we did ask fm the staff). Decided to cancel our pizza order and the staff doesn't look too happy. I wouldn't mind paying for the pizza and "tapao-ing" it back, but come to think of it, ours was PREORDERED. We understood that it was iftar and the place was full, but I would've thought that Padi resorted to preorders for a reason. We are not walk-in customers who expected to be served in a blink of an eye. Padi had our orders 24hrs prior, so I really dnt understand why it took them more than 1hr to deliver the pizza. Hope Padi cn look into improving their service (coz we saw a few tables vying fr attention when we were there), as I wouldnt mind returning fr their food. I sincerely apologize for this lengthy feedback, but just think of my daughter who walk out of your restaurant on an empty stomach after fasting the whole day.

excellent place, excellent staff, excellent service, excellent food. booked the cozy corner 4 mths in advanced for mum surprise bday dinner, even requested for a simple pulut kuning 'cake', what we had was more than a simple pulut kuning 'cake' it was gorgeous. had the ambeng, mix satay platter, burger Temasek, siput sedut, all yummylicious. sis Normala, you and your staff did an excellent job in catering to our needs even on a full house. a highly recommended place to be with family and friends. don't just sit outside or on the 1st floor. check out their 2nd floor too..

One of the best nasi ambeng in town...the delicious mouth watering spicy coconut chicken (lemak chili api ayam) is so tender and nice. The rice, most important ingredient in nasi ambeng is moist and easily chew upon the first bite. kuddos to padi for the prompt services and hospitable owner made this place an excellent choice for all my friends and I. Padi have certainly made our break fast dining experience there worth every penny. Will be coming back again for more.

Excellent Nasi Ambeng. Our group had a nice cosy corner and ordered the full-set dulangs. Each dish was done to perfection, and the mutton rendang is a must-try. The only exception was the sambal sotong, which was not as spicy and flavourful as we would had liked - though the owner clarified that this was to cater to the general crowd. The owner was friendly, attentive and very receptive to our "demands" (including the quirky ones we added just for fun - like Teh Tarik ice and Teh-O tarik). This will definitely be one of my go-to places in Arab street from now.

Waited for more than an hour for our meal and we decided to go down ourselves to check with the staff and was informed that the kitchen did not receive our orders. No one came to check if their customer's meal are all served.. terrible terrible service! Its even more terrible when we have our non malay guests along to taste malay food. Such a big dissapointed! Was charge for service fee with a terrible service! What a shame Padi! Once bitten twice shy! Not going to patronize your restaurant because all you can do is apologize with no service recovery! Given 10% discount but service fee of 10% is still chargeable. What kind of service recovery is that??? And only 1 set of nasi ambeng (1 pax) was served and was charged 2 sets! We want our refund!

The ambience and environment was superb, with reservation you could even get a private area for your function. In addition, the staff was friendly, the food was good and with variety choices of drinks, what else can you want.. it is definetly a place that I would come back again.. from the BARTLEYEAN BOYS...

Food was phenomenal! Service was great! Given the big crowd due to Muslim customers breaking their fast, the speed of food being served was on time. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere of the place was cozy and relaxing.
