Review Lepak At Rayz - Singapore

One of the best place to lepak! The food was awesome 😎. We ordered Penang Char Kway Teow which is fabulous. Mezze Platter perfect for 2/3pax and Lamb Mandi rice.. 💯% Muslim-Owned Support Local! 💞

Probably the saddest meal I have had in a long time. The items on the menu were exrtremely expensive for a mid range eatery. 22 bucks for fish and chips-you probably can gauge from there. Ordered a lamb shawarma, lamb burger and chicken kunyit rice. Took about 20-25mins to arrive. The burger was sad. Just lettuce and tomato, dry BEEF patty and old cheddar with a side of chilli sauce. Ive made better burgers at home in my boxers. This was 16.90. Rip off, ambience was rubbish, service was meh, food was extremely disappointing. Wayyyy overpriced for low quality food. Dont come.

Turkish food was mediocre (mezze platter & falafel wrap) but the ambience was nice. The second floor was air conditioned and quiet

Service is good, waiting time is acceptable and most importantly, food is great!

Damn good food. Small space not so suitable to bring stroller in for families. So gotta leave the stroller outside. And also there are steps if u wanna eat indoors. So for those who cant muster the steps, maybe reserve a spot outdoors.

I'm usually skeptical of fusion dishes but I'm glad this proved me wrong. I really enjoyed the addition of aromatics and slight heat from the rempah that took things up a few notches in this squid ink pasta. 😋

Came here for iftar yesterday. Service was solid and every dish was a unique experience. Best hummus I’ve tasted in Singapore thus far. Will definitely return if I’m craving for middle eastern cuisine

My family and I decided to head to Rayz Bistro to break our fast as we wanted to give the Ramadan Menu a try - especially since I had a really good impression of the place when I first had the Pan-seared Salmon from their regular menu! Upon being seated, we were served the bruschetta, porridge, dates and fruits. I'd like to mention that my mom really loved the porridge to the point that she finished up two bowls of it - she's a picky eater so good job! The first main dish that I'd like to mention is the Nasi Lemak with Ayam Rendang that I had; the Rendang was really tasty and the rice was so so soft. The sambal was good too but it was a little too spicy for me so I had to mix a small amount with my rice just to get the taste of it. I'd like to mention that my tolerance for spicy food is really low so I would think that fans of spicy food would really like this. The next dish is the Ayam Berempah - which was what both my parents ordered. The chicken was really well cooked and it was juicy and flavorful, but the only downside was that the chicken was rather small. And speaking of small, I personally thought that the cup that the Teh Tarik was served in could also be bigger! After finishing our mains, we were served our dessert which happened to be Red Velvet with Vanilla Gelato. The cake was really soft and yummy so I would genuinely recommend trying this dessert if you have the chance to. The staff waiters were also very responsive and courteous the whole time we were there, making it a pleasant experience for me and my family.

Thank you for the truly pleasant and satisfying Saturday dinner. It was my parents' and my first time at Rayz Bistro after I had discovered it through social media, and I was impressed. My parents also liked it very much. I had made reservations prior to coming, and even though we were very late, we were greeted with a warm welcome. We were shown to our table and had the menu briefly explained. Although the interior design and layout were simple, I immediately loved the apparent details, such as their hotel-like-grade table cloths, premium napkins, tableware, and soft music, which made for a heavenly experience. We had ordered Lamb Shank Briyani, Kampong Fried Rice, Pan-Seared Salmon with Pesto Sauce, and Truffle Fries. Firstly, the truffle fries came before our mains as it should and in a generous portion. Secondly, my father and I agreed that the salmon was the best salmon we had tasted as far as we can remember; It was perfectly cooked. Thirdly, the briyani rice was not served as hot as it could have been, and the lamb shank could have been a little more tender, but overall, the briyani was highly tasty. Fourthly, the fried rice was normal, but it should definitely stay in the menu for those looking for a safe and traditional option; Familiarity for my parents was extremely comforting. Also, I loved that effort was made to provide a fairly extensive drinks menu. Further, we were served a complimentary dessert, which was just the cherry on top, and it was called a Salted Egg Eclair. Before trying it, I felt uncertain but intrigued. To my amazement, it was delicious and certainly unique! Served with a side of ice cream on a bed of crushed pistachios, this dish is definitely recommended for those looking to try something new. On top of all this, presentation of all the food was perfect and service of all staff was absolutely excellent. Others might lament about the price, but for an experience such as mine, I would gladly pay and come back another time; I support the fact that they are providing an option for people to enjoy or experience "Halal fine dining" (Who needs tuxedos? I won't be eating them.), because even though they may not be the only establishment that does in Singapore, there surely aren't many that do; I applaud the courage and hard work required to operate such a business. I pray that the people behind this establishment keep up their good work and succeed.

Rayz Bistro is a nice n cozy place where u can have a decent meal. Choice of food is limited, especially for the kids. Either fish n chips ( small portion ) or tomato pasta. Kids meal does not come with a drink or ice cream dessert. Choice of Western Main course is also limited. 1 kind of steak, 1 kind of Poulet, or chicken, salmon etc. Mind you, the main course prices are not cheap! Average above $35 or more. I would also say main courses comes in mainly small portions. Steaks all below 250gms or less. Staff Rayz Bistro are mainly helpful, but too helpful as this seikh server quickly wants to clear yr plates even though your not done with yr meals. Servers or waiters not knowledgeable in taking orders. I asked a young server for a side order of fries, and he said " hang on, I check with my supervisor? " Huh?? Have to check for a side order of fries with his supervisor? Was tat order too difficult? Then what was he there for? My mum ordered a Seared Salmon with all of us for dinner. Her salmon didn't come till abt an hour later when all of us had already nearly finished our meals and I had to ask where was the Salmon, afew times. And the lady who took our order asked me again, if my mum had ordered Dinner? Huh? Again? Didn't u take my order? Even with approx less than 8 diners, we had to wait for quite a bit for our meals. And to see that they had more than 3 chefs in the kitchen. So why so long for out main courses? As we celebrated my dad's 77th Bday, we didn't want to be too demanding. The Bday cake we ordered was made by Rayz's Bistro. Was nice and reasonable priced. $65 for a 1.6-1.8kg. To make things short, I'll rate a 6/10 ratings on overall performance. You can get a better priced makan place somewhere else. Parking is also limited!

Had iftar with my family at Rayz Bistro today. It was a pleasant experience as they served the drinks, kurma, bubur and bruschetta before the mains which came not long after. Ordered tom yum hor fun and it was deli! Would have been better (for me) with more meat like fish cake. If you are a veggie lover, then you would love this main. The tom yum was not too bland and spicy. So, it was just right for my tummy after a day of fast. My husband ordered cheese burger and the patty was done nicely - not too raw or overcooked. They also served with a lot of fries which we shared! Overall, the Ramadhan Special is reasonably priced at $22. You get the appetizer, the main and dessert (today's was red velvet with vanilla gelato). Moreover, we didn't have to rush through our meals to do our prayers because they have a designated praying area which is located at the third floor of the same building. The ambience was warm and I would recommend this place since it's located in the central - parking is also easy! But do make sure you call to make a reservation first so you don't end up waiting to be seated. Salam Ramadhan to all :)

First of all, Rayz bistro was so efficient that after I made a booking last Friday afternoon (9 June), they called me back right after to inform me about the menu. They tried to whatsapp me the menu but it didn't go through so they asked me to check out the menu on their FB and let them know so they could prepare beforehand (it was a special Ramadan menu). Wow! So efficient. And when my husband and I got there close to Iftar time, they already prepared bubur lambuk and appetizers (kept in plastic cover) for all the guests waiting to break fast. Perhaps a little too efficient as perhaps the bubur would have gotten cold but luckily mine was still warm. I ordered the nasi ayam berempah while my husband had the nasi lemak with beef rendang. I really loved my dish but I couldn't finish the rice. The kerabu that came with it was a little too acidic for me, otherwise the meal was delicious! Although my husband's dish was a little delayed (he had to watch me attack my food first), he enjoyed his dish and wolfed it down soon after. Although I have to say our most fav meal was DESSERT! The apple crumble/pie was soooo good. Delicious! Really good value for money. Would love to come back here, especially for the briyani because my husband said it's pretty legit. :)

Went to have dinner here and I have to say it was great. I had the bruleed smoked duck minang pasta while my partner had the chili crab pasta. We both loved our food. The service staff was exceptional, always smiling and very friendly. They were always proactive in helping you enjoy your food. The musollah on the 3rd floor is also air-conditioned, so that was a bonus.

Honestly i really find it hard to review a service provider under the food industry. Especially this one. U see i have been stalking this restaurant ever since Februarythis year. A review made by my fav blogger. ( shouldn't put her name here) ive told everyone how much i wanted to eat here n how beautifully well the food was served.. Finally the day came.. Today for iftar, i decided to make a reservation and an advance bday celebration for my husband and with his 2 frenz. It was a good initiative by the restaurant to have a whatspp service to preorder our food first and a couple of qns later.. We arrive for our dinner service 25 mins before iftar. We were served the bubur n kurma to break our fast but the drinks only came later which is slighly 10 mins after breaking fast. My squid pasta came at 730pm however the other 3 dishes nasi lemak beef rendang came in an hour after break fast. Which is pretty late when we have already preorder it. However It was okay actually as 45 mins into the dinner service we inquire from the waiter and he said that it was being prepare by the chef now. .. It came 15 mins later...Disappointingly,the rice was cold and the rendang beef was luke warm, to add the egg was oily ::( .. It certainly wasnt prepared " fresh". The chef/owner was graceful enough to go round the table asking for feedbacks and apologize for lateness of the food n the quality of the food. He offered to change the rice but we were all hungry to care for a change. I am tolerable mostly if the food is late but when it comes cold or luke warm it's kinda unacceptable. Still the 3 stars came about due to the nice plating of my pasta sotong itam and the great initiative to have the bubur and kurma as an appetizer so the diners wun go hungry. It was also a nice gesture of the team to have my husband name plated when his dessert was served. They even have a lucky draw.. a package to umrah for 2 lucky diners. Salute to such initiative.. Would i come back? Yes perhaps after raya so i could try their dinner service again.. Benefit of doubt, today a lot of ppl was breaking fast..they could have gotten out of hand with todays service. I certainly had high hopes especially when i have religiously read review after review for this restaurant.. Still i think the Rayz Bistro team did good n hope to have future improvements when the next time i come. So thank you. Aside to this. A big tq to the couple beside us for buying me a drink when u shouldnt have. It was a small gesture which didnt need any replacement,so thank you. I hope ur meal was great::)

I had the pleasure of dining there with my wife over the weekend. The food we ordered were really good! Salmon with Pesto Sauce, Truffle Fries, Lepak Burger, Mango Sticky Rice and Keropok Lekor were all so gd!(the names of the food might be a little off; basing it off memory!).

We celebrated my mom's birthday at LePak. Food are good and reasonably priced. We had a variety of dishes and mine was the ribeye steak (medium-well) which was really tender. Service by the staff was impeccable. Thanks to Abg Rudy for making us feel welcomed!
